By road, the M4 motorway means that Swansea is less than three hours from London, two and a half hours from Birmingham and 4 hours from Manchester.

There are regular trains and coaches to Swansea from all parts of the UK. Swansea train station is seven miles from Bishopston and Gower and connected by a regular bus service. Swansea also has a ferry terminal with a regular service to Cork and two hours west there are regular ferries from Rosslare into Fishguard.

Gower is well sign posted from the M4 and Bishopston is situated at the heart of south Gower peninsula.
