How to get there

By Car

St. Mellion is located on the A388 between Saltash and Callington.

From the M5, take the A38 west of Plymouth over the Tamar Bridge. At the first roundabout turn right onto the A388 (signed St. Mellion and Callington) and continue for about 4 miles.

Turn left (signed Polborder and Pillaton) and follow the narrow road for about ¾ of a mile. The entrance to the Oakridge estate will be seen on the right at the bottom of the hill.

By Train

The nearest main line stations are Plymouth and Liskeard (both about 11 miles away) and the nearest local station is Saltash (5 miles). You will need a hire car or taxi to complete your journey. We recommend Enterprise Car Rental in Plymouth.

The main line service to Penzance runs from Plymouth through south east Cornwall, with all passenger trains stopping at Liskeard and Bodmin Parkway. Local services stop at Saltash, St Germans and Menheniot.

Main line and local train services are operated by First Great Western Trains.

By Air

The nearest airport is Plymouth City Airport (11 miles). Newquay Airport is the alternative (42 miles).
