General information

Town, port and tourist center on the southeastern coast of Istria, 5 km southeast from Labin. The place has a marvelous pebble beach surrounded by rich vegetation and clean sea. In this fishing settlement, tourism started to develop in the 19th century. The economy is based on fishing and tourism. Health tourism is also well-developed. The tourist offer includes accommodation in hotels, apartments, family houses and camping sites (up to 10 000 tourists per day), excellent gastronomic offer, interesting sports and recreational facilities, as well as cultural and entertainment events. It is an attractive destination for family holidays.
