Getting around
There are many scenic walks or cycle routes directly from Middlehead Cottages which will take you through the valleys & picturesque Moorland where you encounter an abundance of wildlife (red deer, roe deer, buzzards, foxes, badgers etc to name but a few). The steam train (NYMR) runs from Pickering to Whitby, please visit their website to book your chosen train with tariff. A car is necessary to travel further afield.
