From the Airport: Come through arrivals, then take the rolling walkway down to the next level, follow signs for the S-Bahn (it's a big green S). You need to get a ticket before you go down to the S-Bahn platform. You can get it from one of the red machines (they're in English and easy to follow) but if you're not sure then there is a manned ticket desk (usually a queue). You need to buy a "Bayern ticket" for the relevant number of people (€23 for one person, then €4 per person for up to 5 people, children under 15 go free). The S1 and the S8 both come in to the city so just take whichever one is next. Get off the S-Bahn at Hauptbahnhof. From Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) The train to Paindorf usually leaves from platform 20/21, some time between 20 past and half past the hour (check www.bahn.de for further details).
