Travelling by car on the A77 head for Stranraer, once in Stranraer take the 3rd exit at the 1st roundabout, then the 1st exit on the 2nd roundabout (heading towards Kirkcolm / Leswalt), follow the road for approximately 1 mile, at the roundabout take the 2nd exit (sign posted Leswalt). Once in Leswalt turn left at the church (sign to Portpatrick), follow the road for approximately 2 1/2 miles then turn left (sign to Portpatrick). Cairnhapple house is the 1st on the left and Lochnaw cottage is immediately afterwards.

Travelling by car on the A75 head for Stranraer at the 1st roundabout (Morrisons) take 1st exit and follow road through Stranraer and at mini roundabout take 2nd exit, follow road to T junction then turn left, at roundabout take 2nd exit (Sign posted Leswalt). Once in Leswalt turn left at church (Portpatrick), follow road approx 2 1/2 miles then turn left (Portpatrick). Cairnhapple house is the 1st on the left and Lochnaw cottage is directly after.
Travelling from Portpatrick turn left towards Dunskey Gardens and follow road approx 6 miles and Lochnaw cottage is on the right with Cairnhapple house immediatly after.
