How to get there

Higher Edgarley House is located in central Somerset on the South foot of Glastonbury Tor - a landmark seen from miles around. We are one mile from Glastonbury when you drive towards Shepton Mallet on the A361. It is easily accessible from the London area by either the M4 via Bristol, M5 via junction 23 at Bridgwater or the M3 then A303, which takes you right through the scenic West Country and past Stonehenge, a perfect half way stop for refreshments. By train, it is direct to Castle Cary station from Paddington, which is also conveniently the dropping off point for the Heathrow Express. Following the A370 and then the A360, Glastonbury is 12 miles from Castle Cary station which is well serviced by local taxi companies.

The closest airport is Bristol International, at 32 miles (50km) by car. Bristol Airport is serviced by all the major car rental companies, including Europcar, Avis, Hertz, National and Enterprise.
