How to get there
Coldingham is perhaps easier to get to from London than Cornwall! It is just off the A1 and takes about 6 or 7 hours by car. There's a regular train service from Kings Cross/Euston in London to Berwick-upon-Tweed which takes 3 hours 20 minutes. Dunbar station is 30km away. For car hire from Berwick train station try East Coast Rental. It is 45 minutes drive from Edinburgh and takes 40 minutes by train to Berwick train station. The Old Manor is just 15-20 drive from Berwick on Tweed. There is parking for 2-3 cars in the drive.

Getting around
If you arrive by car it is very easy to get around. We would recommend a car especially if you come for a week. You can shop in the village or nearby Eyemouth (5-10 minutes) drive or head into Berwick (15-20) or visit Edinburgh (45-6 minutes). If you don't have a car there is a good bus service between Edinburgh and Coldingham. You can walk from the house to the village in 10 minutes. Many people organise an internet supermarket delivery.
