How to get there
Visitors flying from UK normally arrive at Geneva International Airport which is two and a half hours by car. EasyJet run frequent flights from Gatwick. The train from the airport to Sierre takes two hours and twenty minutes. There is a regular bus service from the station which takes twenty minutes and it stops outside the chalet. The funicular from Sierre to Montana takes fifteen minutes. Since there are free bus services to the town and cable cars it is not essential to bring or hire a car, although a car is useful

Getting around
The buses to and from Sierre to the centre of Crans Montana and Barzettes & Amonina run approximately every hour and there is a bus stop outside the Chalet. There is no charge for journey In and out of town from the Chalet. The funicular station Sierre to Montana is a five minute walk and is on the bus route.
