Getting around
Our flat is superbly placed - minutes from town centre shops, and only five minutes on foot from the railway station. (No noise from the trains - don't worry - there's a hill and a castle between the station and our place!). Lancaster is a compact town (actually, technically a city, albeit a small one!) and is easily accessible on foot, with theatres, parks, bars and cafes all conveniently close by. Manchester, Carlisle, Glasgow, and Edinburgh reached by fast and regular trains, and there are local trains too. The bus station, for routes across Lancaster and Morecambe (including a regular service to the University), Lancashire and South Cumbria, is five minutes away too. Lancaster is found just off the M6 if you're travelling by car.
