How to get there

Taking the overnight ferry from Portsmouth to either St Malo or Caen is a good way to get to the house because the trip between Caen (or St Malo) and Brantome is an incredibly good one which takes under 6 hours on good roads and therefore no stop-over is required. A good alternative is taking the eurotunnel and stopping off in Paris for a mini break. We stayed at euro disney once and had a couple of days there and another time we stayed near Versailles and were able to spend a day exploring the amazing Palace and grounds and another day doing some sights in the centre of Paris.

If you decide to book a holiday stay we are happy to let you use our Brittany Ferry Club card to allow you to get the 10% friends and family discount on your ferry crossings, just let us know so that we can supply you with the details.
