Places to visit: Torre Pacheco is local Spanish town Los Alcazares, resort town , beautiful safe beaches and many bars and restaurants. Murcia, historic town with large shopping district. Cartagena, Roman port well worth a visit 20 minute drive. Mud baths at Lo Pagan 20 minute drive. Torrevieja, lively seaside resort ,nightlife, shopping -25minute drive. A car is recommended especially for stays over a week to explore the area as bus service limited. There is a taxi rank on the resort and most local towns and at the airport- prices are reasonable
