Getting around

Given the rural location a car is essential as there is limited access to public transport and what is available is not frequent. Stagecoach operate a bus service, route 319 between Bude, Hartland and Barnstaple with connecting services are available from Bude and Barnstaple. Please note the 319 is not a frequent service, is not direct, is goes around the houses or in this case villages. The nearest train station is Barnstaple which connects to Exeter St Davids and takes about 1hr 20 minutes. It’s a really nice journey through the country side, ideal for day out.
