How to get there

Getting There.

Car hire is recommended (but not essential) and it's usually best to pre-book a car on line.

As you leave Corfu airport (Kerkyra), turn right. This road will take you through parts of the old town. A two minute drive will bring you to a “T” junction, Turn left. (Make sure you keep the sea on your right) When you have passed the harbour, (still on your right), you will eventually come to a set of traffic lights. (You can't help but notice a large blue and orange building). Turn right following the signs for Kassiopi. There are a couple of routes you could take; both take about the same time, (45mins), but the coast road is something you really don't want to miss! The views are absolutely breathtaking! There are some great tavernas along the way serving excellent food at very reasonable rates. Continue along the coast road for about 45 minutes until you reach Kassiopi. (nearly there). After another 5 minutes or so, you will see the signs for Perithia. (another sign to look for is “Harry's Taverna”). Turn left directly opposite the ice cream parlour. This little road takes you into the village of Perithia. After about 200mts you will reach the centre of the village, at this point be sure not to blink or you might miss it! In front, you will see the Kafenion, (A Greek pub/coffee shop), Bear right, keeping the kafenion on your left. Continue for another 200mts and you will come to a narrow lane.Directly after the green wheelie bin, turn left. Another 50mts and you are there. On the left is Villa Katerina.
