How to get there

From the Kansai International Airport (KIX), take a Haruka Express train on JR line to Kyoto ?76min: Adult JPY3,490 child 6-11 half price, under 6 free for the first 2 children accompanied by 1 adult, Green Car (1st Class) JPY4,220. You can further save money on the train by taking the local train via Osaka station (Kanku Kaisoku) and change train to Kyoto (about 120min: Adult JPY1,830) Alternatively, you can inform us AT LEAST 7 DAYS IN ADVANCE to have us book you an airport shuttle, PROVIEDED THAT YOUR FLIGHT INFORMATION IS ALSO INFORMED. This convenient service is available for the arrival time between 6am and 8pm, the van takes you right to our house. adult: JPY3,500 childJPY1,750 (Group or family discount may apply, additional cost may apply after your second luggage). The booking is a complimentary service and payable by credit card directly to your driver or at the airport desk. Please proceed to 'MK counter' near the gate H on the ground floor in Terminal 1 at the airport if you made the booking with us.

TAXI for 4 passengers or less with small luggage: From JR Kyoto station, get out from the Central Exit on the North side of the station. Show the direction (provided once booked) to the driver. It costs about JPY1,200-2,000.

CITY BUS for any group size: You can also reach us by taking a Kyoto City Bus #101 to 'Kitanotenmangumae' (literally means in front of Kitanotenmangu Shrine), the 10th STOP, the name of the stop will be displayed in the front near the driver, and walk for 5 min. Alternatively City Bus #50 will also take you to the same stop but making 12 stops instead of 10 and may take longer time.
