Directions
You follow the main road from Kalamata to Areopolis. At the road site of Verga should ignore the junction that leads to the left at Verga and you can proceed straight to the main street “Kalamata – Areopolis”. Ano Verga is a different village than Verga. At the junction where the hotel MESSINIAN BAY is located will follow the left road toward “KAMPOS etc”. Then after 6.2 km turn left toward the villages “SOTIRIANIKA, ANO VERGA etc”, before that place also will see a yellow sign pointing toward the left and writes AEROPI in Greek. Turn left and after 6.5 km you will see the village Ano Verga and AEROPI.
Ano Verga is a traditional village and very quiet, so you must get with you some food to reaper. Although nearby AEROPI there is a very good tavern that is open all day.
