Getting around
A car is recommended to get the most out of the surrounding areas including the Lake District. There is however a bus that runs from Lancaster through Morecambe and stops at Carnforth then goes on to Keswick. There is also a Train station at Carnforth where you get trains to most areas including Edinburgh.
