When you arrive at the Chiusi Chianciano Terme train station, take the bus to Montepulciano, or if outside the bus time take a taxi (taxi cost about 50.00 euros). If you arrive by car: from the north A1 motorway exit Valdichiana / Bettolle then signs for Montepulciano Centro; if you are coming from the south, take the A1 Chiusi / Chianciano Terme motorway exit and then the signs for Montepulciano. From both A1 exits it takes about 30 minutes before arriving in Montepulciano. The Historic Center of Montepulciano is a ZTL zone (limited traffic zone) so only residents can enter by car. Tourists must leave the vehicles outside the historic center in the adjacent parking lots (there are both free and paid). From the main entrance of the city (Porta al Prato) begins via di Gracciano in the Corso and after a few tens of meters there is the entrance to the apartment.
