ATTENTION, in the Cevennes is better a good detailed map than a poorly adjusted GPS! Do not rely blindly to the indications of these systems often poorly adapted to courses in rural areas...

Here along the routes the journey time can be much longer!

For users of the A75 motorway: take the exit n ° 39.1 (and not the previous). Follow the N88. Pass the villages of: Chanac, Barjac, then at Balsièges, turn right to take the N106 (direction Florac). Do not go to Florac (except for a visit if you want to), but to the Col de Montmirat (about 15 km from Balsièges), turn left onto the D35 in the direction of Pont-de-Monvert then follow below.

From Pont-de-Monvert said necked the Berthel cross, turn right towards Saint-Frézal-de-Ventalon. Always right on the D35. At the intersection, go straight (staying on the D35 leaving the D29 on your right). Then, 200 m after passing the hamlet of the Elliott (2 houses under reconstruction, hand and side of the road and a bistro). -> Estimated time of Pont de Montvert to DSS: ¾ of an hour.

Alès in Alès, follow "Aubenas" as a line. Then follow Génolhac (without to go!). DO not take the N106 towards Mende and Florac. In the village of La Tavernole, turn left towards Pont-de-Monvert on the D52. Can still do all right (the D52 becomes D35 entering in Lozère) for about 20 minutes. After passing the hamlet of "La Destourbe", at the intersection of "Poussiels" - du Cros, on your left (do not turn left): vigilance and slow down! The path widens a bit and you see, facing you, a little off, a large stone wall. Slow to take on your right the next intersection direction «Vialas» (on the VC1). Coming from Génolhac take direction Pont-de-Monvert. After the hamlet of 'The beam', take a left at the fork (and not Vialas-centre). Then, still all right for about 15 minutes. In the village, turn left towards 'Route des Crêtes'. Note: If you pass the position, on your right, you have gone too far-> make a u-turn. Pass the Temple (on your left), then the old cemetery (on your right). Take the first right (small road which descends. And not all right because it is a dead end). Always follow «Col de Banette» and «Route des Crêtes». Always straight for about 5 km, or less than 10-minute ride on a fairly narrow road. Then turn left direction "Souteyannes" (at the level of trash): signs for the Coupetadou. At the fork on the right. Parking: please park in Spike (if possible in reverse: easier to leave). The mas is below the parking lot.

-> Bridge of Génolhac in the mas estimated time: ½ hour.

If you have to ask your way in the village of Vialas, I advise you to speak of the hamlet of Souteyrannes, and not from the Mas du Coupetadou (the name of the bed and breakfast is less known than that of the hamlet).
