From London: take M11 then A11 (there are currently road works outside Thetford to add an additional carriageway to the only part of the A11 that had not been dual-carriageway). Nearing Norwich take the outer ring road following signs to Airport and Cromer A140. Try to avoid the ring road at rush hour. Come off the ring road at signs for Cromer and Airport. Pass the airport and continue on A140 to Aylsham. Leave A140 to drive through Aylsham, passing through the centre of the town and continuing on the Blickling Road. Look out for Blickling Hall on your right. Two miles on from Blickling Hall take right turn, signed Itteringham (you may also see a sign for the Village Shop and the Walpole Arms). Just before the village at a junction with the Walpole Arms on your right, cross the junction and take the left hand of two parallel drives to approach Itteringham Mill. (If you have a satnav it may take you via the A47 and Ringland. This is potentially quicker but does take you through some very windy and narrow lanes and the route is too complicated to explain here).From the West: head to Kings Lyn and follow signs A148 Cromer around Kings Lyn. Pass Fakenham and just past Thursford look out for junction with B1354 on right signed Briston and Melton Constable. Take this road and follow to T junction with B1149 (Holt Road) at Saxthorpe. Turn right at the junction follow the road around to roundabout and take first exit (B1354) signed Itteringham. Continue on this road. Beware there is a partly hidden very sharp left-handed bend about 2.5kms on this road. Very shortly after this bend look for a small turning on the left (there will be a long, cream painted house ahead on a sharp right hand bend). Take the turning and follow the road around to a T junction. Turn left and follow road down to junction just before the village with Walpole Arms on your right. Cross this junction and take the left hand of two parallel drives to drive down to Itteringham Mill.
