How to get there
Isle of Islay can be accessed by sea via CalMac ferries which leave from Kennacraig and arrive either at Port Ellen or Port Askaig. Another way to get to the island is to fly from Glasgow to Islay Airport. Sometimes airlines offer flights from Edinburgh. Ardbeg Cottage is about 3 miles east of the village of Port Ellen. Our private road that leads you to Ardbeg Cottage starts directly opposite of the gateway of Ardbeg Distillery.

Getting around
There is a bus stop right at the end of our private estate road (about about 500 meter away from our Adbeg Cottage) We recommend that you come to Islay with a car or rent one if ou have arrived by plane.
