Bayeux (1hr 40mins) is home to the famous Bayeux Tapestry and the Battle of Normandy Memorial Museum, which gives a complete overview of this historical event.
Domfront (20mins) is a fortified medieval city, founded in 11th Century. It has preserved many reminders of its rich past, making it a delightful place for a stroll around its narrow streets and charming squares.
Bagnoles-de-l'Orne (30mins), famous for the beneficial properties of its water, specialising in the treatment of rheumatology and vascular medicine. Its thermal baths are the place to go for medical cures. It offers numerous outdoor activities such as walking, horse riding, mountain biking, golf and tennis.

The ferry ports of Caen and St Malo are 1hr 30mins drive from Mantilly and Dinard airport that has flights from both East Midlands and Stanstead on a regular basis and is also 1hr 30mins drive. Caen is the capital of Lower Normandy and the City of the Dukes of Normandy. The Abbaye-aux-Hommes abbey was founded by William the Conqueror. The Saint-Pierre Church boasts numerous viewpoints of the city.
