On entering the villa you cannot fail to be impressed with its bright airy feel and the quality of both the villa and the modern furnishings. The bedrooms are air conditioned and the lounge has a large ceiling circulation fan. Windows and external doors have mosquito nets fitted.
A local english agent is available to deal with any queries or problems you may have during your stay.
All linen and towels are provided as well as pool towels.

Standard check-in time is from 4pm on the day of arrival, through to check-out by 10am on the day of departure. We can sometimes meet clients requests for earlier arrival or later departure times.
A 20% deposit of the total amount is required to secure your booking. The outstanding balance must be settled 6 weeks before departure.
The deposit is non-refundable on cancellation, and we strongly recommend that you cover this eventuality by a travel/accident insurance policy.
A breakage /excessive cleaning deposit is due on arrival of £250 or Euro equivalent, and then returned after departure day once the villa has been checked.
There is no extra cost for the use of the air conditioning.
The Algarve region
The villa is situated 2km inland off the EN125 coastal road near Manta Rota & Vila Nova de Cacela 5 minutes from A22 motorway junction 17 near the Spanish border. The villa is in a small quiet Portuguese village, with lovely views out over the surrounding countryside.The area is the most popular amongst Portuguese holiday makers who prefer the eastern Algarve for its superb uncrowded spacious beaches.
The unspoilt beautiful blue flag, sandy beaches of Manta Rota and Altura are close by, as are the beaches of Monte Gordo and Praia Verde.
There is a clear definition between the Western Algarve and the Eastern. Whilst the West shows more development towards tourism, the Eastern Algarve and its tidal marshlands still have a tranquil beauty, and the small resorts along the coast have retained much of their character, looking today as they must have looked in days gone by. Here, tourism blends in perfectly with local activities creating a relaxed way of life.
Fantastic golf courses are in abundance being only 10 minutes' drive from Quinta Da Ria with its beautiful sea views and Quinta Da Cima , a lovely challenging course. Benamor is 15 minutes away an interesting course with fine views also Castro Marim Golf Course with stunning views over the River Guadiana. Just across into Spain you can play the Islantilla Golf Course which has hosted the Spanish Open.
Lawn Bowls is played at nearby Cabanas,is open to visitors and boasts the best greens in Portugal
The villa is situated in the small countryside village of Portela. The nearest resorts are Manta Rota and Altura. Manta Rota sits on a sheltered and vast unspoilt beach.The resort has benefited from recent major regeneration of the esplanade,with impressive extensive wide beach boardwalks, new restaurants, supermarket and children's play areas all with extensive free car parking. The area is flat and popular with hire bike cyclists. Add to this a sublime uncrowded beaches and some of the warmest sea temperatures on the Algarve- you've all the ingredients for a perfect holiday.
Altura is a quiet Algarve resort with its wide sandy expanse of beach and is perfect for families, being fully equipped with good facilities such as shops, banks, bars and several restaurants. The nearest town is close by at Vila Nova de Cacela with its popular monthly market ,shops and train station.
The biggest resort is Monte Gordo with its casino and nightlife, and discover pretty historic Vila Real de San Antonio, only 15 minutes away on the boder with Spain. There's much to attract in San Antonio, including a choice of restaurants and shops along the riverside. Take a short inexpensive ferry trip over to Spain via the River Guadiana to contrasting Ayamonte with its choice of shops, bars,small zoo,art galleries and museums.
Car hire is recommended , to give you the freedom to push out into historic Tavira, an old habour town with its cobbled streets, famous roof tops, castle ruins, restaurants and bars.Aqualand and ZooMarine are great family attractions both 45 mins away.Close by is the magnificent Ria Formosa National Park a wonderful protected area great for walking and a must for bird watchers where many species can be observed as they stop over on their migration from Northern Europe to Africa.
