The Algarve region
The Eastern Algarve is a slightly warmer climate than the West, there is a lot of investment going on and improvements to the facilities, there is great shopping to be had in the town of Vila Real de Stº Antonio. Fantastic mostly undiscovered location, has a variety of restaurants, shops and cafes not too commercialised but you can find nightlife if you need it a short taxi ride away. And the stretch of very wide award winning beaches goes on for many Km. It is the perfect location for couples or families.
Manta Rota area
Manta Rota is an expanding beach resort which is a good area for investment, rental houses and apartments do well here, it is much more designed to be houses and less apartment’s not high rise at all. It has a village feel there are good restaurants and many cafes.
Even in the height of the summer you have so many beaches it doesn’t get too crowded. There are good supermarkets and also a small selection of shops.
In the winter months it is a haven of peace and is a great place to relax, you can take bike rides to Cacela Velha, and see the gorgeous views, the traditional church and fortress, the beach is very long and wide, and it stretches from Cacela Velha through to Vila Real the border town to Spain. You are approx 40 minutes drive to Faro Airport.
How to get there
There are various airlines that fly to Faro but the two that most of our homeowners and clients use are Easy Jet or Monarch. We have a car hire company from whom you can have them meet you in arrivals with a brand new car whichever group you choose which you book with us before your visit by email. We can provide you with maps and details of car hire and private airport transfers and costings.
It is very easy to get to the beach resort of Manta Rota, you get on the main motorway in Faro heading towards ESPANHA you are heading east from Faro Airport, stay on the motorway until Monte Gordo turn off, when you reach the main EN125 road turn right towards ALTURA, go over one roundabout straight on, straight on at traffic lights and straight on at next roundabout. You will then come across the first entrance to Manta Rota turn left. At the first roundabout go straight on then at the mini roundabout turn right, at the end of this road you will find our office.

The apartment benefits from a large patio with a BBQ ideal for enjoying al-fresco dining and creating a meal for a large group whilst enjoying the warm summer evenings. The bedrooms are large with plenty of air and light providing the ideal setting for rest and relaxation.

On booking a rental deposit of 30% of the value is required, the balance to be paid in full either by bank transfer before you travel or in cash on arrival, please note we cannot accept English cheques or Credit cards.
We offer a support service throughout your stay, we have an office for Sales and Rentals in the village of Manta Rota, close to the property.
Sheets and towels are changed once a week, please note beach towels are not provided.
Should a welcome pack be required there is a small cover fee.
