The villa was finished in April 2007 to a very high specification and comes with all the essentials needed for a great vacation.

All outside areas are closed to provide a safe enviroment for children,and in typical portuguese style the property benefits from an outdoor pool,shower,bbq,double sink,chairs table and sunloungers for a great alfresco lifestyle.Inside the lounge,dining room and all the bedrooms are air conditioned,the kitchen is incredibly well equipped with all the equipment you could require on a holiday, there is a wall mounted flat screen LCD tv in the lounge with freeview channels and a DVD player, + an independant stereo system.

The Algarve region

The Algarve has long been held as a favourite holiday destination, the eastern algarve with its wonderful climate and relatively unspoilt and sympathetically developed towns make it an ideal holiday for those who require the R and R in life.

From january through May the average temperatures are 65 - 75degrees, while the summer months yeild 85 - 90 degrees before returning to a more manageable 70-75 degrees through september to december.

Manta Rota / Praia da Lote area

Within Manta Rota village a large new supermarket has opened along with a butchers and a brand new beach esplanade with restaurants,relaxation areas and children's play areas which are all now under construction.
For the Golfers there are 2 courses within 5kms and a further 3 within 12 kms including Monte - Rei the new Jack Nicklaus golfing complex.

The area is also an excellent base for cyclists, with main roads that have cycle lanes for miles and miles,and for those who enjoy the more physical, take a ride up into the mountains to take in those breathtaking views.

The main town of Tavira lies 20kms away, with its cobbled streets and famous rooftops, restaurants and bars, this wonderful place is well worth a visit.

Vila Real is 10kms away and again well worth a visit, from the marina you can look across the water directly at spain,whilst a stroll through the cobbled traffic free centre gives you that great relaxed holiday feeling.
Seville (Spain) lies 140kms away from Manta Rota.

Manta Rota lies only 10kms from the spanish border, it is therefore possible to take an evening stroll along Manta Rota beach and end up in spain for a small apperative!!!

During the summer months there are many markets held in Manta Rota, whilst in Vila Nova de Cacela there is a market of giant proportions once a month.

How to get there

Faro is the closest airport to the villa, you will readily find budget airlines such as Thomson,easy-jet,ryanair who regularly have flights to and from faro.
Car hire is plentiful and most of them are directly outside the airport , europcar,budget,alamo etc... all give a very keen price though shopping around may well save you a few pennies.
From the airport a dual carrageway links into a motorway (A22) and will whisk you down to the villa in manta rota in a little over 35 - 40mins.

A 25% deposit is required to reserve required dates.The balance is payable at least 8 weeks before arrival.Refunds for late cancellation will be given on the following basis:-
8 weeks + -no cancellation charge
4-8 weeks -50% refund
2-4 weeks -25% refund
less than 2 weeks - no refund.
A security deposit of £200 is required.Further details available upon booking.The keyholder will meet you upon arrival and show you around the house.
