About the home

The Cabral 1500 property is located at the Eastern end of the Praia da Lota village, 15km from the spanish border and enjoys an unobstructed view of the ocean and surrounding countryside. The land is protected in this area, and the Ria Formosa sand dunes are the way to unspoiled beautiful sandy beaches, just a short 3 minute stroll away.
Our houses can host up to 9 people very comfortably, and are perfect for two families with children. All year round rental with AC/heating. Long and short term rentals available. easy access (semi private) to beach. All new amenities and furniture. Dine in or out on the terrace.

The Algarve / East Algarve region

The region of East Algarve is one of the few protected areas in Portugal. The sand dunes of the Ria Formosa, bordering the property are home to migrating birds in autumn. Local fauna and flora is preserved. The weather is warm and sunny most of the year with temperature averaging 20 degrees. Close by are fishermen's villages and the historical town of Castro Marim is home to a medieval fortress. The region was once inhabited by the Moors who left some of their architecture. The nearby village of Tavira was once called the Venice of the south, and was a place where the Phoenicians reloaded fresh water.

Manta Rota has now many new restaurants offering typical cuisine, especially fish and shellfish, some of the best and freshest in Europe. Praia da Lota was once a fisherman's village and keeps today its cozy and peaceful atmosphere.
