Situated within nature's environment of the Natural Park of Sant Llorenç del Munt and only 150 meters from the centre of the little villa of Rocafort, you can find the fantastic facilities of Masia El Prat.
Rocafort is located in the region of Bages, 50 min. driving from Barcelona an 15 min. driving from the important town of Manresa.
This country house dates from the 16th century and now two of the main buildings have been reestyled into a comfortable accommodation with great privacy and comfort.
The villa benefits from its own private courtyard with heating swimming pool and various terraces. The two accommodations are perfect for a big family or two families travelling toghether. It is possible also to rent only one of the accommodations, so we offer the capability to accommodate 4-22 people.
Absolutely reccommeded for children.
The restaurant Can Serra, in the village of Rocafort, 300 meters from the Cottage, offers you a nice cuisine of the area with preferential conditions for our guests.
The Natural Park is a pleasant area to walk and relax. You can visit the nice little villas of Mura and Talamanca in the heart of the Natural Park and walk to the ancient Monastery of La Mola located in the summint of the hill.
Also you can visit the Monastery of Sant Benet de Bages (8km from the Country house ) , recently restored and when the world's famoust chef Ferran Adria has his new development centre of food science.
A paradise for walkers and ramblers. Guided walking holidays in Spain Natural Park.
And Barcelona is 50 min. driving.

The Costa Brava/Catalonia region

Masia El Prat is in the hearth of Catalonia, in the Manresa area connected with Barcelona by a motorway.
With a typical mediterranean climate, you can enjoy the country house all the year.
The Monastery of Montserrat (20 min. driving) is one of the most famous place in Catalonia. The Monastery of Sant Benet de Bages, recently restored (8 km. from the Masia by a nice and relaxing path) is one of the best romanic buildings in Catalonia. The world famoust chef Ferran Adria has located his new laboratory of Science of Food in the Monastery.

Manresa / Rocafort area

The area of the Masia is famous for the llitlle constructions in the vineyards. There is a route to discover this uniques constructions in the heart of the Natural Park.
A walk path to visit the ancient Monastery of La Mola in the summit of the hill is a very nice excursion.
The area was very famous in the 16th,17th,18th and 19 th centuries for the vineyards. Is possible to visit a very known wine cave in the villa of Navarcles.

The courtyard and the terraces are totally recommended to enjoy all the day and everyone can find his own space for play with the children, read a book or taste a cup of wine.

Walks in the Natural Park, mountain bike, visit the monastery of Montserrat and Sant Benet de Bages, visit the wine caves Abadal, excellent local cuisine.
We can organise 4x4 excursions in the surroundings and some excursions walking and with mountain bike.
We can organise also a one day trip yatch in the nicest beaches of Costa Brava
