~Lough Melvin itself is a lake internationally renowned for its unique range of plants and animals

The Central Ireland region

~Lough Melvin is one of Ireland's famous angling Loughs offering the chance of spring salmon from February to May, Grilse from May to July and Gillaroo, Sonaghan and Ferox trout throughout the season. Guests to this property can fish Lough Melvin free of charge.

Manorhamilton

This wonderful property is located on the shores of Lough Melvin, 2 miles from Garrison, 7 miles from Manorhamilton. This property is quaint and charming with a cosy open fire in the lounge and boasting spectacular views along the length of the lake extending to Slieve League in Donegal. There is a boat house with a boat and oars which is free for guests to use. Next door is the Rossinver fishery where an engine can be hired if required. It is a fisherman's paradise as Lough Melvin is one of Ireland's famous angling lakes and fishing is free to guests of the cottage.

~Care needs to be taken with small children as the property is right on the lake shore.
