Los Cortijos de la Bahia is within walking access to the beach and is within a short drive of both La Duquesa and Estepona. Communal facilities include parking, swimming pools and tropical gardens. It is a gated and secure complex. This 3 bedroom townhouse is situated in one of the best positions within the urbanisation. It is close to the kids swimming pool, adults swimming pool (both swimming pools are located 10m from property), parking area and communal gardens and has its own private terrace and garden. The living accommodation is distributed over 3 levels and there is also a sunny roof terrace which has lovely country and sea views. On the ground floor there is a kitchen and open plan living room with ample room for seating and dining. On the 1st floor there are 2 double bedrooms with a shared family bathroom that is well appointed. The upper level is exclusively the master suite with double bedroom and en-suite bathroom and access to the roof terrace. This is an ideal choice for a family holiday, you are within driving distance to everything including the beach. Sun loungers, high chair and cot are available free of charge. Car recommended to explore all surrounding areas.

Casares Costa

Casares Costa is a small stretch of coast, which forms part of the municipality of Casares in the province of Malaga, Andalusia. Situated beachside the area is an ideal destination for a family beach holiday, situated in fairly relaxed surroundings, yet enjoying local amenities, and within a short distance of Estepona, Sotogrande and Gibraltar.

Local Casares

Casares is split into two urban area: Casares Costa, which is a beach-side strip of residential urbanisations, a commercial centre and bars and restaurants and the old historical village of Casares, which is located some kilometres up into the mountains, sitting 430 metres above sea-level.


Places to visit

Casares Costa is well situated to explore the western end of the Costa del Sol, from Marbella and Estepona, down to Sotogrande, Gibraltar and into the Cadiz province.

The area offers lots of facilities and amenities for those looking to take part in leisure activities such as water sports, jeep safaris, inland excursions, trekking, or simply sit and relax at a beach bar and enjoy Sardines al espeto (Sardines on the Spit) and a glass of vino or sangria.


Casares Costa is an excellent destination for golf holidays, or those looking to partake in a round or two whilst away. The nearest courses are Finca Cortesin (Volvo Masters Course) and Dona Julia at just a 2 minute drive away. In close proximity are a number of world-class courses within 20 minutes drive, including La Duquesa Golf & Country Club (5 mins drive), Estepona Golf (5 mins drive), Valderrama (Sotogrande - 15 mins drive) and Alcaidesa Links Golf in San Roque (20 mins drive). There are numerous other championship courses within a 15 minute drive of the development.

Bars, Restaurants & Shops

There are chiringuitos along the beach which is a short walk. All other bars and restaurants are a short drive away in either Duquesa, Sabinillas or Estepona which are no further than a 5 to 10 minute drive away.

Travel: There is easy access to taxi ranks, bus stops and also motorway access in both directions.


Casares beach is a short walk from the development. There is a promenade which leads to the beach and a beach bar and restaurant. Finca Cortesin has recently opened a luxury beach club situated alongside the La Perla resort and this superb facility is open to non-members. Golden sand beaches stretch along from Estepona, to Casares and onto Sotogrande and Gibraltar, and never get over crowded. You can walk to the beach from any location in Casares Costa, and there are wonderful chiringuitos (beach restaurants) dotted along the way.

This is a very family friendly property due to its private gated garden, communal swimming pools (kids and adults within 50m) and close proximity to the beach. There are stairs in the property but on each level there are stair gates making it safe for small children.


Casares Costa enjoys a sub-tropical Mediterranean climate, with hot summers and mild winters. Cooling breezes from the sea make the summer heat manageable, temperatures average 32 ºC during the summer and 15-16º during the winter months.
