The apartment faces the swimming pool and lake, and has a private balcony, living room with kitchen/diner, double bedroom with lake view balcony, children's room with bunk beds and rear balcony, and a shower room. The apartment has been furnished in a modern, stylish manner, and is well-equipped for your holiday on Lake Garda, a real home-from-home.
The resort is just 300 metres from the beaches of Porto Dusano, where there are also a few restaurants/pizzerias and the ferry stop, so you can hop on the ferry and visit other lake Garda towns without having to use your car. Given its proximity to the lake, a car isnt absolutely necessary but we definitely recommend one as hiring a car can sometimes be cheaper than getting taxis to and from the airport, and youll need a car for shopping for groceries and exploring the lake, visiting Gardaland and towns not served by ferries.

The Lombardy / Lake Garda Area
When should I go?
June to September is best for decent weather, when daily highs average 23-28C/73-82F. Tourists flock to the lake in July and August. But all year, Lake Garda has something for everyone and is an ideal holiday destination. Many of our apartments and villas are available all year.
Where is it?
The 48km-long lake is in northern Italy, east of Milan and fairly close to provincial town Brescia and famous city Verona, the setting for Shakespeare's Romeo And Juliet.
Who goes there?
Families, mature holidaymakers, couples, walkers and water sports enthusiasts looking for a sedate holiday in a beautiful location. Desenzano has some nightlife but this is not the place for loud partying.
How to get there?
Fly to Verona Brescia, Milan Bergamo, or Verona Catullo airport with a no-frills airline such as Ryanair for unbelievable deals, then hire a car for total independence. Alternatively get a taxi transfer from the airport, or catch a bus from Verona, Brescia, Mantua or Milan, or go by train to Desenzano del Garda, on the main Milan-Venice line. Fly-drivers should take the A4 motorway and the S11, which link Milan with Venice, or the A22 which connects Verona and Trento.
Manerba del Garda area
Salò on the western shore is the most fashionable resort on Lake Garda and a favourite with Italian holidaymakers coming from Brescia and Milan, with designer shops, boutiques, fabulous restaurants and a quiet, sophisticated atmosphere. Visit its old centre with cobbled streets and squares and enjoy a walk along the lungolago, one of the largest promenades on the lake. At the southern tip of the lake on a peninsula sits Sirmione, loved by bathers but often full of tourists. We recommend staying elsewhere and saving Sirmione for a day trip. A Roman villa with baths (Grotte de Catullo) is an easy 15-minute walk past Lido delle Bionde's small beach with pedalos for hire.
Manerba has a young, vibrant feel with plenty of beach activities, watersports and cobbled streets in the old hamlets that make up the village of Manerba with shops, bars and restaurants. Porto Dusano, just 300 metres from the resort, has bars, restaurants and pizzerias, a beach and marina, and a ferry stop where you can catch a ride to other lakeside towns including Salò, Riva, Sirmione, Bardolino and Malcesine.
How to get there
Ryanair fly from many different UK airports to Milan Bergamo, and from Stansted to Verona Brescia (closest airport, just 30 minute drive). British Airways fly to Verona airport, Easyjet flies to Venice Marco Polo but this is a good two hour drive away.
