A landlord should always try to make the holiday and the stay at the property, as pleasant and enjoyable as possible, when you have such a nice family to accommodate, the reward is shared by everyone.

"Excellent value, pleasant location"

The Falcon Holiday Home proved to be an excellent choice for us, we emmigrated to Australia and used it as our first location. The area is very pleasant, with the house being just around the corner from the beach. Local facilities are pretty close too, plenty of take aways and local shops to get supplies are within about 3 or 4 km's. I'd recommend where ever anyone stays that they should have a hire car in order to explore the country more effectively, so although the facilities are within walking distance, they're very convenient as most guests should have transport.

The house itself is very spacious indeed, and comfortably equiped. The gardens to the front and rear are also very spacious and well maintained.

For anyone looking for a first location when emmigrating to Australi, I'd highly recommend this property as it's good value for money. For those planning a trip, i'd also highly recommend it as the good price will allow you to spend your hard earned money on other things!

The owners are very accomodating and we found that they do everything they can to make the stay a very positive one indeed.

"Amazing relaxing stay in a beautiful holiday beach house!!"

My family and I stayed in this holiday home for two weeks in July, it was a fantastic stay where we felt very much at home. I had organised a car as recommended to get around but really enjoyed walking down to the beach everyday :) The car was still handy when driving to nearby Dawesville and the winery region further south. The house was very clean and well looked after! It had everything we needed for the two week stay as well as being toddler friendly (which made it so much easier to relax) . I received very prompt and professional treatment from the owners and had no dramas with the deposit. We will cherish these memories with our little one forever.

"Poorly furnished, Tired looking and take care with your Deposit !"

We stayed on 2 separate 2 week periods during Feb. & March 2012. The property was further from shops and beach than the advert lead us to believe and shopping definitely needs a car. When paying for second visit we deducted the $300 deposit that we had paid from the U.K. as we were returning to UK. and did not want to have a cash refund. Immediately we did this we meet with opposition and a request for payment of $24 that they had been charged by their bank to receive are monies from UK. The next day we received an email asking us to make a contribution to the Electricity Bill as we had used more than they had budgeted for, this request we ignored but if they had still had our deposit how much would they have deducted from it ?

In response to this review. The distance from the property to the shops is as advertised and the advert states that a car is required.
The house is always spotlessly clean and has been holiday let for the past six years with rave reviews. We have all the personal letters that people leave us. A bond is kept until the guests move out and the place is checked. Unfortunately the guest deducted the bond from the monies due, leaving us with no security and at no stage was there any opposition. Our banks here in Australia charge us for receiving overseas funds, we did advise the guest of this $24 cost, at the first transaction.
In regards to the electricity bill, it was extremely excessive (more than double what it should have been.( all doors left open with airconditioners running )
Also if the house was as bad as they say, why did they come back for the second fortnight which hadn't been previously paid for?
We are confident that future guests will be comfortable and very happy with this property.
