The 2 bedroom apartment is on the first floor, accessed by stairs. The property overlooks the entrance to Aphrodite Sands & the hills beyond & remains an even temperature throughout the day as it is sheltered from direct sun. Mandria is a peaceful area located a few minutes from the city of Paphos. This is a great relaxation spot for singles, couples and families.

Hot water heater & timer is situated on the wall outside the separate bathroom.
Kitchen: Full kitchen including all utensils (dishes, pots, pans, cutlery, toaster, coffee maker, etc).
Living Rooms: Living room with 20 inch Panasonic flat screen TV, satellite & DVD player. Turn TV on- then press red button on Panasonic Controller, top left, green light will show. Local TV will appear. For Satellite, press AV button on top right.
A.C/ Room Heater Remote Control & Timer is on coffee table in Living Room.

Apartment complex includes two outdoor communal pools, a spa & massage rooms & a communal garden overlooking the sea. Short walk directly from the resort, along a quiet roadway to the pebbled beach.
Mandria beach is quiet and relaxing, away from the tourist beaches in the city of Paphos and only a 5 minute walk from the apartment!
Paphos beaches are only 10km away. These beaches offer sunbeds, bars, diners, a range of water sports and activities (e.g. fishing, sea cruises, windsurfing, waterskiing and sailing and more).
Coral Bay is a beach destination for tourists and locals, and is located about 15 kms form the apartment.
5-15 minute drive to the Island's major golf courses/resorts, Aphrodite Hills, Secret Valley, and down town Paphos.
A 45 minute drive, Troodos mountains offers skiing from January-March. The resort has 4 ski lifts and 7 runs.
The Paphos Airport is 5 km away (less than a 10 minute drive).
The Larnaca International Airport is about a 75 minute drive along the highway.
Car hire/rental is recommended. Road signs are in English and Greek. The highway/motorway system in Cyprus is impressive and easily navigated, connecting all major towns and cities on the island. Buses are also frequent and a convenient way to travel.
The apartment is centrally located. Approximately 700 meters away from the Mediterranean, 5 km from Paphos airport, 10 kms from Paphos city, 15 kms from Coral Bay, 8 kms from Aphrodite Rock, 30 kms from Limassol and Polis, 45 kms from Troodos.
Mandria has 2 tavernas used by locals and tourists, a restaurant, cafe, fish & chip shop, and 2 mini-markets. Most items can be purchased in the area, while other items can be purchased in the city of Paphos or village of Timi (local supermarket). Banks, ATMs, and doctors are available in Paphos.
Mandria is centrally located for visiting tourist and historical areas. 10 kms away, is the city of Paphos where you will find the Tombs of the Kings, castles, churches, the port/marina, shopping, go-karting, waterpark, day tours, carnival, bars, clubs restaurants, and more.

The Paphos District
The Paphos region
Paphos town is strongly connected to Greek mythology and its history. Paphos was the capital of Cyprus under the Ptolemy's, successors of Alexander the Great, when its harbour was a thriving port, and remained Cyprus's first city for more than seven centuries under Roman rule. It's said that Aphrodite, Greek goddess of love and beauty, rose from the waves and crashed on its shores.
But returning to the modern day, enjoy a cool refreshing drink, a steaming Cypriot coffee or a mouth-watering meal in one of the many tavern sand restaurants or bars that dot the scenic harbour side and the luxury hotels along the coastline suit every taste and budget. Cyprus enjoys over 320 days sunshine per year on average.

Mandria being a village doesn't suffer from hordes of tourists. Consequently the secluded beach coves at Mandria are often empty or very quiet.
Within the village there is a bank, small supermarket, a gift shop, coffee shop and bakery.
Within the village square there are three tavernas , Fish & Chip restaurant which is excellent.
Yiannis Taverna is a traditional taverna where you can sit outside under a vine with grapes hanging. George's Taverna on the other side of the square is slightly better equipped for eating inside. On a Friday night during summer months there is Cypriot entertainment at George's. Both Tavernas are exceptional value.
A 5 minute drive from Mandria is Petra Tou Romiou, the birthplace of Aphrodite
