Located on the historic Ashton Canal and accessed through it's own private garden, every room in this modern apartment enjoys a peaceful aspect overlooking the canal and basin. Enjoy the passage of canal boats whilst the local waterbirds entertain and sip sundowners whilst the BBQ sizzles.

There are 2 large fully furnished bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a king sized bed, an open plan living room/kitchen with breakfasting bar, a separate small utility room and a modern bathroom. Included are mattress and pillow protectors, hypo-allergenic double duvets and pillows, towels, tea towels and basic toiletries. Cleaning during your stay can be arranged in advance at additional charge.

The development is fully secured and benefits from plenty of open space and private residents gardens, as well as a bicycle shed and recycling facilities. There is secure allocated parking on site. A short stroll along the canal tow path and over the Shooters Brook Aquaduct (built 1797) provides ready access to Piccadilly, the Northern Quarter and all amenities of the city centre. Piccadilly Train Station is under 10 mins walk away with Sportcity in the other direction.

Although this is a ground floor property, access into the property is up two garden steps. It is possible to enjoy the overall facilities of the village development, and access the canal tow paths on the flat/via ramps.

Double glazed. Wall mounted heaters in bedrooms, hall and living room, underfloor heating (timed) in bathroom. Internet access possible via guests own IT equipment and BT Openzone etc. No involvement of owner whatsoever.

Piccadilly Village is a quiet and friendly residential development of low density and lots of wildlife. It is a safe and tranquil oasis in the very heart of Manchester, with all the cities amenities a short walk away.

With a tranquil canal setting, this inner complex apartment has no noise pollution from it inner city location. Enclosed with electronic security, we were free to investigate Manchester as we saw fit.… More

It was wonderful to host you and your friends during your stay in Manchester. I'm very pleased that the DVD collection provided entertainment for the ladies whilst the gentlemen were able to take advantage of the peace and tranquillity of this location, after what a little birdy told me was quite the night out!

To complement the list of dining recommendations, I am currently compiling a list of late night entertainment venues to prevent any more interesting surprises at the hands of Mancunian taxi drivers...

I'm very excited to announce that a new luxury King-sized bed and mattress will arrive this weekend. I "discovered" the mattress during my own vacation and simply had to bring the same to Manchester!
