Manchester is set in the heart of the Northwest region with surrounding cities like Liverpool and Leeds less than an hour away by car. A short drive away you will also find the peak district and the coastal towns such as Southport and Blackpool. If its history you prefer you may want to visit Chester which is 45 minutes by motorway.Manchester is a former mill town but is now a busy cosmopolitan city withe numerous bars,shops and restaurants. Sports fanantics can enjoy the likes of Mancehster United & City, numerous golf courses and racecourses in the region.
Manchester / Deansgate area
The location of the property is just off the Deansgate area of Manchester. Here you will find the bars and restaurants along with Selfridges,Harvey Nicols and the Arndale centre, there are hundreds of shops within this area alone. If you prefer the theatre and concerts the Manchester evning new arena is a 2 minute walk and the Opera house 10 minute walk. Christmas time is a nice time to visit the city as the German markets arrive in Albert square and St.Anne's Square. The museum of Science and Industry is a place to take the children in the schools holidays and of course a visit to the two football teams of Mnachester,City and United. If you want to take a trip out of Manchester the Metrolink service will take you to places suck as Salford keys, Bury and Altrincham. A trip to the tRafford Centre and you will find the indoor ski slope and nemerous shops and restaurants.

Hi Karl The weekend was fantastic thanks, as was the apartment. Thankyou so much it was even nicer than we had expected. There was absolutly no problems that i can think of.
