The bedroom has an oak floor, underfloor heating, WiFi, a stereo, mini-fridge, iPod dock and speaker, a flat-screen TV with Free-view, chest of drawers, clothes hanging space and tea and coffee making facilities. The en-suite travertine bathroom has a large shower, heated towel rail and luxury towels are provided. The fully sprung double sofa bed was specifically chosen to be as comfortable as a conventional bed, but with the advantage of being convertible to provide greater room should it be required. Bedding is provided and a hairdryer and iron are available.

We live up a farm track off the main Hereford to Worcester road, with open access to hundreds of acres of woodland and farmland. We have a gravelled parking area.

Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Storridge is only 3 miles from Great Malvern, 20 minutes drive from Worcester and also the M5 motorway.

Malvern has regular train links to Hereford and Birmingham and is only 45 minutes from Birmingham NEC and Cheltenham.

Continental breakfast in bed is included and lunches and evening meals are available from the lovely local Red Lion pub.

NB: Even though we have a dog, Lola, the Duckhouse has always been pet-free so should be fine if you are allergic to dogs. We also have ducks and hens, who are often spotted wandering around the garden.

The Central England/Cotswolds region

Storridge is settled on the Herefordshire/Worcestershire border. Malvern, 3 miles away, is famous for it's beautiful hills, Edward Elgar, water springs and the home of Morgan Cars.

Herefordshire becomes increasingly rural in comparison with Worcestershire, with it's beautiful rolling countryside and punctuated by farming communities. Hereford, the home of the Mappa Mundi is a 20 minute drive and it is about 30 minutes to the the Welsh border.

Storridge is a lovely hamlet, within sight of the Malvern Hills. An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it offers fantastic walking and a wonderful break away from the hustle and bustle of town life.
