This smart, cosy apartment is close to Great Malvern (spa town with theatre/cinema, shops, restaurants) which can be reached by foot, bus or car. The apartment is located in a beautiful area overlooking the Three Counties Show Ground, and views of over 40 miles. The historic riverside town of Upton upon Severn with its famous summer festivals (folk, blues, jazz etc) is 15 minutes away by car. Taking one of the many footpaths from the property you can quickly be in Herefordshire overlooking the Black Mountains and the vista of Wales- why not leave the car and use the pack of 7 circular walks from the property. The famous Malvern Spring water can be found at Holy Well just 300 yards away. There are several pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Cheltenham racecourse is 30 minutes south by car.

This is a modern 2 bedroom apartment (Bed 1=double, Bed 2= twin ideally suited for 2/3, but a double sofa bed is provided in the lounge which allows flexibility for up to 5 adults(inc. 1 couple). There is a family bathroom with overbath shower and all rooms have underfloor heating from the gas boiler. 2nd TV/dvd player in main bedroom. Fully carpeted, double glazed with video phone entry control. Free Wi-Fi from 2015. Secure cycle storage.

Raised rear terrace is communal with picnic table, seating areas, planting and superb views. Allocated parking for 1 car in lower car park plus several visitor spaces available. Footpath down to main road, with local Spar shop and bus stop. Bridleways and footpaths with immediate access to the hills behind the property.
Suited to walkers/tourers but not for smokers, children under 12 years of age or pets. The property will be cleaned and prepared for 4 guests but further linen and towels will be available for the sofabed to provide for flexibility & choice of additional sleeping arrangements. Welcome tea/coffee tray on arrival & books & playing cards available. No price inflation during times when there are local festivals eg. in Upton-upon-Severn, Cheltenham races, music, literature or science festivals or when events are on at the Three Counties Show ground which the property immediately overlooks. Bookings of 3 nights or longer are preferred but 2 night bookings are accepted on an 'own linen' basis (or for a £30 supplement)
The Worcestershire region
This beautiful area of England offers quintessential charm but with 21st Century appeal - stunning countryside and many attractions and amenities.
Severn Valley Railway, West Midlands Safari Park, City of Worcester (with its Cathedral, Racecourse, Cricket Ground and Golf/Country Club), Pershore, Evesham and Broadway (and many more delightful Cotswold villages) are all within easy reach by car.
To the West are found Ledbury (historic market town), city of Hereford, Hay on Wye (famous book festival) and Wales. Cheltenham Spa with superb shopping and facilities is in Gloucestershire just South of the region.
The property sits in the conservation area of the Malvern Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty between Herefordshire and Worcestershire. This distinctive range of hills runs south for 9 miles from Great Malvern and provides great walking and spectacular open views in all directions - the highest peak being Worcestershire Beacon at 1395 ft.
Sir Edward Elgar, England's greatest composer, lived nearby and he also taught music at the property when it was a school. His birthplace/visitor centre (2for1 discount for guests) and the 35 mile 'Elgar Trail' can be visited from the property. The summer months bring Festivals to nearby Upton-upon-Severn (15 mins by car) and there are regular shows at the Three Counties Show Ground which is overlooked by the property. The famous Malvern Spring water is bottled at Holy Well which is just 300 yards from the apartment. The Worcestershire Golf Club is very close by, just 5 minutes by car, and is also overlooked by the property.
In addition to local walks on the Malvern Hills, there are numerous long and short trails in the area and the nearby Worcestershire Way runs for 31 miles or the Geopark trail for 109 miles or the 210 mile Severn Way which follows the longest river in UK from it's source in Wales to the Bristol Channel. You will find OS maps, footpath and trail leaflets at the property.

"Top Notch Malverns Retreat"
Have to highly recommend this apartment which is located in a quiet, tranquil setting and is high quality. Modern, clean, comfortable and well kitted out, this is a perfect retreat from which to explore this beautiful area. I will definitely stay there again!

"Immaculate, modern apartment"
Amazing apartment, very comfortable with views to die for. My daughter was playing Cricket at The Downs Prep School only 8mins drive away, so was perfect for us. We tried one of the short walks in the book (no 2) just to get our bearings, we would have liked to do more walking in our beautiful surroundings but just didnt have enough time. Maybe next time. Would definately recommend this accommodation.

"Very comfortable, modern apartment with fabulous views"
Stayed at Severn Vale View with husband and 2 children. Very comfortable, clean, modern apartment with comfortable beds. Perfect spot for visiting all the local walks if you wish, however we were visiting family and shopping. Plenty of information in the apartment for various activities in the vicinity. Everything you need for a self catering stay including a washing machine.
Only downfall was where to park the car - the property is located on a steep hill, whereas the parking is down the hill, fine if you are fit, but not for the less mobile. However, you can drop luggage and then park down the hill.
We would have no hesitation booking again and look forward to our next stay.
