Home description
This is a character cottage located in the centre of a farming village. Situated next to a Norman church, yet close to an award winning village pub (serves superb meals and local ales) the cottage offers a relaxing environment.
There are 3 double rooms: one with en suite facilities, and one with a childs room attached. Sky TV and WiFi available. Many old oak beams, low ceilings and a secret staircase all add to the charm of this cottage.
Outside is a patio with gas BBQ, decked area and a large garden which is a haven for many different birds.

The Central England / Cotswolds / Cheltenham / Gloucester region
North Wiltshire enjoys the rolling hills of the Wiltshire Downs and the famous Ridgeway Walk as well as the Vale of the White Horse. Brinkworth is the longest village in England and is located close to the Avebury Circle, Marlborough and its famous school, and Malmesbury with its historical abbey.
A little further afield is the Roman town of Bath (45 mins), Stonehenge (60 mins) and Oxford (55 mins). Other places of interest are the Caen Locks on the Kennet & Avon canal at Devizes, the GWR Railway Museum and Outlet Mall at Swindon, and a number of National Trust properties are all within a 30 mins drive.
Malmesbury / Brinkworth area
Badminton Horse Trials, the International Air Tattoo (RAF Fairford) and WOMAD are all easily accessable from Brinkworth.
Also close is Bowood House with its excellent Children's Adventure park, historic house and gardens which are open from Apr - Nov. The National Arbouritum at Westonbirt and the historic towns of Castle Coombe and Tetbury are only 30 mins away. For those that enjoy fishing or sailing the Cirencester Water Park is nearby, which also has attractions and a lakeside beach for children.
