As there is no mobile reception in the cottage, there is a land-line phone, as well as D-link WIFI for laptop use.

The North Wales region

Powys covers a quarter of the landmass of Wales and two of Britain's most famous rivers, the Wye and the Severn, have their sources within the county. The south of the county lies within the Brecon Beacons National Park, whilst the north-western border abuts the Snowdonia National Park.
Powys castle, national Trust is a must to visit while in the area, as well as the CAT ( Centre for Alternative Technology) centre in Machynlleth
