“A wonderful family retreat!”
Fferam Bailey is a great big house, ideal for large families. With plenty of room to lose yourself if you want to have a bit of time on your own, but with all the room of a big farm house to have "great big get togethers"! I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing break. Location idillic, with ever changing views of the Snowdonia national park in the distance. Very peaceful, with blue flag beaches only 10 mins drive in the car! We loved it and our kids loved it! We'll be back!
The accommodation was wonderful, spacious, well designed, relaxing and beautiful views. Located near wonderful beaches, which were breathtaking, highly recommended. We were just two, however, would want to book for a family gathering in 2013 as this place has all you would want with 6 bedroom and plenty of space for such a gathering. The owners know how to make guests feel at home.

“wonderful house”
We stayed at Fferam Bailey as our annual family get-together, consisting of grandparents, 3 children and husbands/wife and 5 grandchildren, all under 5 years of age. The house met our needs perfectly. It is a very large, spacious, and beautifully furnished house. We actually didn't use the dining room as we found the kitchen comfortable and more convenient. The gardens and views are lovely and the position is good, we went to Cable Bay beach a few times and it is only about 5 minutes in the car. I would definitely recommend for large groups of people and it had 7 bedrooms, not 6 as stated. The seventh bedroom is in the loft space.

“Perfect weekend break at Fferam Bailey, Absolutely faultless.”
I booked Fferam Bailey for the weekend with ease, the owners were more than helpful in providing all information we required before we arrived. On our arrival, the house was immaculately clean, and the decor was beautifully quaint with some really nice features. The lounge was very spacious with plenty of seating for all 14 of us. The log burner was lovely and added to the cosy feel of the house. Even though the house was large, it still felt homely and warm. We were greeted on arrival with fresh flowers, bread, and homemade jam in the farmhouse style kitchen. The Aga was lovely and great for cooking our meals, and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils, glasses, cups, plates etc. All of the bedrooms were a really good size and the beds were well presented and comfortable. I personally loved the traditional feel of the decor mixed with modern and some retro/ vintage style- the iPod docks in some of the bedrooms were a nice touch. The garden was lovely, and would imagine in nice weather it would be lovely to sit out and admire the view over Snowdonia. The view of the sunset from the conservatory at the front of the house was fantastic. We'd definitely like to return to Fferam Bailey sometime soon.
We stayed here for a long weekend and didn't want to leave! We are 4 families with lots of young children and we had a ball! Lots of room for the kids and beautifully furnished for the adults... more

“Beautiful house, perfect location”
What a beautiful house, the group 8 adults and 3 children all had enough space to have some privacy, but also enough space to come together as a family.
The kitchen was very well equipped, the living and dining area spacious and the snug a lovely addition.
The bedrooms and bathrooms are all more than adequate.
It is a shame it was quite misty and we could not see the beautiful view, but I can imagine on a clear day the view is fantastic.

“Surprise Birthday Weekend”
We all had a fantastic weekend - especially Jean, whose surprise birthday celebration this was. The house was beautiful , comfortable, clean and warm with plenty of room for the eleven adults to spread out and for the two year old to explore. Log burner in the lounge threw out plenty of heat and the dining room with its long table was ideal for our birthday dinner party. Breakfast for the whole family around the kitchen table in the warmth of the Aga was ideal for that time of year. The weather was typically February and though the low clouds meant we could not see Snowdonia that did not dampen our spirits. Local shop in Bethel was handy and Heron Garage on the road in to Llangefni provided extra logs and kindling.
“Fantastic house - perfect for a group getaway. Wonderful location.”
We were very much looking forward to our stay at Fferam Bailey having looked on their website, and we weren't disappointed. The house is just lovely, and the layout of it was perfect for us (we stayed over New Year with a large group of friends and their children - the big lounge is far away from the bedrooms, so the children could happily sleep whilst the adults had their personal time with each other without having to worry about waking the kids!) Even though there were 12 adults and 4 children, the house was so spacious that it never felt crowded at all. In fact, quite the opposite. The bedrooms were all lovely, with plenty of space to put up the travel cots.
The location was also ideal - lovely views across the valley from the house, and lots of peace and quiet!
We would certainly recommend Fferam Bailey to anyone!

“Huge, cosy and definitely worth the trip!!”
We rented Fferam Bailey for a few days to celebrate Thanksgiving with a group of 10 friends. We were bowled over as soon as we arrived by how much space there is in the house - it just went on and on - every time we thought we had reached the end, we found another room..!
The house is really well kitted out and the decor manages to combine both country charm (AGA cooker) and subtle modern touches (Wifi and good showers). The best bits were the AGA and the lovely old record player. Both the kitchen and the dining room were perfect for everyone to dine together in plenty of space. The main living room and the snug were really cosy too - perfect after a couple of long walks on the beach to warm us all up!
Only "downside" was not staying there for longer - all of us are keen to come again, especially in the summer so we can use the conservatory!!!

“Stayed here for my 40th birthday with my family, Had a marvellous time”
12 of us stayed here for a week in Nov 2011. The house is lovely. The real fires were a bonus and well used. The Aga was easy to use once you got used to it, Kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed to cook a special birthday meal of Beef Wellington!. Showers work well and you could use both of them at the same time without a lack of power or heat. Communication with the owners was very efficient. The surrounding area is just beautiful and plenty of beaches to keep the children entertained! The local shop in Bethal was very good and just round the corner, We chose to have a tesco delivery on the day we arrived which worked very well. The White Eagle pub is very good There was a travel cot and high chair provided which was great for us with a 9 month old baby, The garden was lovely and we made use of the outdoor furniture and games even in November! I highly recommend this place and we will be back!
Fferam Bailey is a beautiful house renovated to a high standard, spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. We wanted for nothing. We were lucky to enjoy lovely autumn weather and the views towards Snowdonia were stunning. There are excellent walks nearby. Shop/pub/restaurant are a short drive away.

“Stunning family retreat”
Fferam Bailey is the most gorgeous holiday we have ever stayed at. It is a real home from home with all amenities and little home comforts wanted in a holiday house. Communication with the owner was relaxed, yet thoroughly professional. Just go- you won't be disappointed and if the weather is kind to you the view of the Snowdonian mountain range is stunning!

“Superb for a large group”
We stayed at Fferam Bailey for my Dad's 70th birthday. There were 9 adult and 5 kids (aged 5 to 11). The accomodation is excellent, lots of space, and very tastefully furnished. The location is really special with a beautiful view across the valley. The garden is large enough to play rounders, and there is a lovely outside fire which the kids loved.
