Adjoining this you will find a spacious utility room with full size table tennis table+washing machine . The dining area contains a large farmhouse table+chairs. Glass doors open onto a patio with arctic spa hot tub, table+chairs this overlooks large lawns with pool+swings. The lounge with a flat screen TV, UK Sat.+DVD player is comfortably furnished. Adjoining is a study/music room with full size pool table, games, piano, sofa bed and wifi broadband internet connection. Downstairs is a toilet room+separate bath/shower room.

St Abraham is situated in a beautiful part of the Morbihan, in Brittany, rich in heritage and picturesque countryside. Favoured with the best climate in the region due to the Gulf stream, the house is ideally situated for you to appreciate the best of Breton culture and weather. Nearby Malestroit, is famed for its typical French architecture, and boasts a beautiful town centre with its winding cobbled streets.
The Malestroit / St Abraham area
La Chenaie Verte-St Abraham is situated 2 mins from village centre, 5 mins from the sizeable town of Malestroit with all amenities including a Thursday morning market. It is just a short bike ride to reach the Nantes-Brest canal where you can cycle along the scenic tow path for 30 mins to Malestroit or make a leisurely day of it and cycle to the beautiful medieval town of Josselin with its cobbled streets and large chateau.
Its only a 5 min drive or 20 mins bike ride to reach a 53km cycle trail (voie verte) which runs from Questembert-Mauron+crosses beautiful countryside, ideal for cycling, walking+skating.We offer cheap weekly bike hire at £25 adults+£20 kids. Ploermel (10 mins) has a large lake with beach where you can hire equipment for water sports. It also has a 9 hole golf course & indoor pool. There is easy access to the dual carriageway for a family day out on the gorgeous nearby beaches or for a shopping trip to the walled & moated town of Vannes with its harbour+many historic buildings.

Lovely accommodation in a great location for days out - e.g. Josselin and La au Duc. Having travelled as a group of eleven there was enough rooms and activities for everyone. The table tennis and pool table kept the teens and young adults occupied for hours. The kitchen was a great space with everything you need to hand, cooking for a large group was made easy. Supermarkets and bakers were a short car drive away. The garden was a brilliant size and layout, there was enough space for playing cricket and badminton and even room for sunbathing all at the same time! There were chickens at the front of the house, a tethered goat and a friendly horse in the neighbouring field. The heated pool itself was still unfortunately not warm enough to go in but we were at the end of the summer. Overall we all enjoyed our stay and would recommend it. |
