About the home

Comfortable, cozy, apartment located in the centre of this beautiful lakefront town on the Oriental shore of Lake Garda, its history dating back to the middle ages with a magnificent Renaissance castle towering over the lake and where Goethe had a minor misadventure but nonetheless spoke beautiful words recorded in his 'Travels in Italy'; five minutes from the beach and three from a panoramic cable car that in 12 minutes brings you up to 6000 feet, on top of Monte Baldo, from which you can admire the whole lake, the Dolomites and in clear days all the way to Venice; site of infinite hiking excursions and winter skiing. The apartment has three bedrooms (one with a king size bed and two with two single beds that can be join if requested), two brand new bathrooms with shower, fully equipped kitchen, a living room and two balconies with a breathtaking view. It is 1 h driving from Verona, where in July & August you can enjoy Opera in the 2000-year-old Roman amphitheatre.

The Lombardy / Lake Garda Area region

Veneto region is a wonderful part of Italy . It includes unique cities like the world re known Venice and the charming , elegant Verona, full of interesting historical monuments and great restaurants and shops.
20 minutes from Verona there is the biggest and cleanest lake of Italy : lake Garda.
Malcesine and all the North of the lake is a perfect setting for sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, paragliding, hiking, mountain biking , golfing and , during the winter months , skiing and snowboarding on beautiful 6000 feet high Monte Baldo .

The area surrounding Verona is also very well known for the wide extension of vineyards which produce a large variety of rare wines like Amarone, Custoza, Valpolicella, Bardolino,among many others.

The Malcesine area

Verona has a 2000 years old perfectly preserved Roman amphitheatre which is the perfect setting for Opera performances during July and August.

There are organized guided tours from Malcesine to Verona, Venice, the Dolomites, Milan and Bergamo, Wine tour and more , so the guest can sit back , relax and enjoy the run.

Another way to visit the charming little villages around the lake is to take the numerous hourly ferries.

There are many daily direct flights from London, Paris, Frankfurt , Amsterdam and many other European cities to the Verona, Valerio Catullo airport or , alternatively , to Milan, Bergamo, Brescia or Venice airport.
From the airport the best, fastest way to Lake Garda is by taxi or by rental car.

From the Verona and Peschiera del Garda train stations there are hourly buses to Malcesine.
