"Comfy, well equipped and peaceful."
This clean, cheerfully decorated house is in a quiet and pleasant location. It has stunning views from the sitting room and garden over green fields stretching to the horizon. The property had comfortable armchairs, a large dining table and a well equipped kitchen including a microwave. Parking outside the property was easy. A few minutes away along the public footpath we saw alpacas and chickens. This location is well placed for exploring the area . We loved sitting in the garden in the early evening watching famers ploughing their fields in the distance. We definetely hope to stay there again.

"A great place to stay"
I loved the house. It was all so clean and well equipped, plenty of cooking utensils, cutlery, pots and glasses. There were also lots of indoor activities for the family games, jigsaws, leggo etc. which my grandaughter enjoyed.
The weather was good and we loved visiting the wonderful selection of beaches and walks nearby. We sat in the pretty garden in the evenings withuninterrupted views of the Devon countryside. The local agents PEBBLES were very helpful and visited promptly when we had a problem with the water.
I thoroughly recommend this house for a family holiday.

"Ideal holiday home for a really relaxing break."
We've been visiting "Devon Holiday Retreat" for over 30 years, so feel well qualified to comment on this super holiday home, with its friendly and helpful owners. The house ofers all the practicality and benefits of a modern home, yet is in an excellent, peaceful location at the end of a cul-de-sac, on the edge of the village. There are lovely rural views and a sun-trap, south facing garden where we've even lunched on the patio in Februrary as it's so sheltered.
The house is comfortable and well equipped, ideal for either a couple or a family, and we've always found it spotlessly clean on arrival. There's a wide range of scenic walks nearby, including the beautiful south-west coastal path, and lots of safe, family-friendly beaches within a few mjinutes' drive.
Malborough is an ideal holiday location; situated just a short drive in one direction from the characterful market town of Kingsbridge and, in the other direction, there's an equally short drive to reach the lovely yachting centre of Salcombe, from where you can take a ferry trip to the other side of the estuary (great fun for small children) to some lovely sandy beaches and cliff walks. Both towns have a wide choice of eating places and lots of independent shops.. In Malborough itself, there's a well-stocked shop just a few minutes walk from the house and a couple of friendly local pubs which serve good food.
All in all, this is an ideal place for a really relaxing holiday. We highly recommend it.
