The area has busy vibrant cities such as Plymouth, attractive towns such as Kingsbridge, picturesque old villages such as Thurlestone and busy fishing harbours, like Salcombe. Something for everyone.

"Well situated & dog friendly"
This is a clean and well equipped bungalow ideally placed for exploring the South Hams area. The accommodation was comfortable and the rear deck (with optional hot tub) was a lovely place to sit and watch the spectacular sunsets.
The large lawned and fenced garden was ideal for our 2 dogs to race around in so they thoroughly enjoyed the holiday too!
Thank you so much! I am so pleased that you and your dogs enjoyed your recent stay at Tubbs Delight. We hope to see you again soon.

"Very good, larger than appearence, clean and tidy, great views"
We really enjoyed our stay at Tubbs Delight. The garden view is wonderful with lovely sunsets. The interior is simple but clean and tidy and larger inside than expected from the front view. Driveway parking and only a few minutes from the local Co-op in the village service station. Situated very close to Salcombe, Kingsbridge and Hope Cove. We would be happy to stay there again.
So glad you had a lovely holiday. Look forward to you coming again.

"Lovely property in a beautiful location"
We loved Tubbs Delight! The views were even better than we expected and the property was very well laid out to take advantage of the scenery, with plenty of seating in the garden and a lovely big patio door/window that meant you could sit and enjoy the view at anytime. The bungalow was clean and tidy on arrival and very well equipped. We also really liked the secure and spacious garden for our dogs, many places are described as 'pet friendly' but fail to live up to this when you arrive - Tubbs Delight exceeded our expectations.
I'm so glad you had a lovely holiday. The back garden is great for dogs. Love you to visit us again. Thanks

"Tubbs Delight is a fantastic cottage and i would highly recommend it to others"
We stayed at Tubbs Delight over half term and found it was a fantsatic holiday cottage. It was reasonably priced and in an excellent location of several tourist destinations. The cottage is exceptionally clean with a brand new kitchen and lots of space.
We went with family which consisted of 6 adults and 1 baby and found that there was plenty of room for all. The cottage even has baby facilities which saved alot of space in the car (cot, baby changing mat, highchair, etc).
We hired the hottub for use during our stay and found that this was a relaxing end to most days. It is easy to use and an amazing addition to the cottage.
Debbie was really friendly and very helpful with enquiries before our holiday!
I would toroughly reccomed this cottage to others are we will certanly return.
Thank you, I strive to maintain an extremley high standard. The exterior was painted yesterday and I worked on the flower bed. I jetwashed the drive and patio.
Hope all my guests have a fantastic summer holiday.

"Easy and relaxing stay"
The views from the living room are beautiful and there's is plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was also great, we cooked a few big meals and found everything we needed - apart from a cheese grater! The village itself has all the facilities you would need and there are lovely walks in the area and other places easy to reach by car. Booking, arriving and departing was very smooth and easy. All questions were answered quickly.
So glad you had a great time. The cheese grater is in a box in the top cupboard :) Sorry you didn't spot it. Work on new kitchen starts in 2 weeks and I'm very excited. Hope you book again to see the new improvements.

Great bungalow, great value for money FANTASTIC view of countryside. All clean, easy access, great communication. Log fire, dying to stay during better weather to use hot tub with a view to die for. Kitchen basic but clean with great coffee machine. Bathroom ditto, good shower. Thoroughly recommend as good value stay in the South Hams, much better prices than Salcombe. Will return.

"Photo's don't do it justice"
Rented Tubbs Delight Malborough Oct 2012. Well maintained three bed bungalow. Lounge with views to Hope Cove and miles and miles inland. Nice patio, well equipped kitchen with same views. Large main bedroom, similar sized twin bedded room with crib. Small bunk room off kitchen corridoor. Large enclosed back garden, ideal for our dog Callie. Entrance road a bit tight, but soon got used to it, bungalow at top of incline but within a few yards there is a jitty through to the post office, then two pubs. The Old Inn (didn't visit) and the Royal Oak (nice meal, well cooked but frozen chips). I had to query my change and my payment for the meal, but I am sure this was just human error. A few yards on there is a garage with a well stocked Co-op, free cash machine. Tubbs Delight is ideal for exploring the coast paths. Go to Boberry Down and walk to Soar Mill Cove, go back and walk to Hope Cove and have lunch at either of the two pubs there or the cafe or the hotel. Salcombe is disappointing, Kingsbridge is pretty. Go to Beesands for lunch, but don't go near Blackpool Beach if you have a dog. One of our better holidays and one of the better holiday lets we have had.
Great review. Very informative. Look forward to your future stay. Tubbs Delight's kitchen is being renovated in April so will be even better next year.

"What a delight"
The location of Tubbs Delight is perfect or us to visit an elderly relative in Plymouth a couple of times during the week stay.. There are so many lovely walks with our border collie Mollie. The bungalow had everything we needed to enjoy our holiday and the views from the garden are exceptional. We are going to re-visit in the Autumn, and would certainly recommend this holiday let.
Thank you very much for your lovely review. So glad you had a great holiday. Tubbs Delight is excellent for dog walkers with footpaths nearby and beaches out of season.

The location of Tubbs Delight is fabulous - so much to see and do nearby. It was a treat to be able to bring our dogs with us too. Tubbs Delight had everything we needed to enjoy our holiday and the views from the garden are wonderful. We especially enjoyed the hot tub. Hoping to re-visit in the Autumn. Don't hesitate to book :)
So glad you had a great holiday. I have made the garden even more dog friendly with a new side gate.
