One of four proerties, Villa St Isabelle is situated at the foot of Mont Ventoux, in a beautiful wine and fruit growing area, it is the top floor of a modern, newly-built, villa. As well as having their own private space, all the villas share the large swimming pool and the great communal facilities.
One of the advantages of this place is the fantastic location. It's only 1.5 miles to the village, yet you are surrounded by a typical Provencal countryside. You've got a fruit farm and vineyards on your doorstep (the rest of the owners land surrounding the villa is given over to agriculture) with some great towns and villages easily accessible for daily excursions.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Vaucluse region
If you like to explore the local Provencal markets, you’ll be spoilt for choice! Many of the towns and villages in the area are well known for the excellent Paysan Markets where you will find local produce, grown and sold by some real characters!
The local landscape is dominated by vineyards, country roads and quaint villages, all gently basking in the Provencal sunshine. Overlooking this vista is the giant of Mont Ventoux. This is a 2000m summit that is famous for the challenge it poses to serious cyclists. If you are in the car, it also makes for a great day out with stunning views on a clear day!
If you like a tipple, a well-trodden wine route starts at the door of your Villa. Vaqueras, Gigondas, Cotes du Ventoux and Chateauneuf du Pape are all well known great wines of the region and are all within a thirty minute drive (Just make sure you have decided who’s driving back!)
In this area, it's possible to find some of the South of France’s best known towns: Avignon and Orange are just 30 minutes away and Aix en Provence, Marseille and the Carmargue National Park are all under an hours drive.
Malaucene area
Villa St Isabelle is only 1.5 miles from the village of Malaucene where you will find plenty of small local shops and restaurants.
Within the village, you'll find various historic sites, including a unique gothic church, and remains of ramparts that surrounded the village. You'll also find a market selling a whole manner of local produce, including the famous cherries, asparagus and apricots.
If you are feeling a bit sporty, cycling, walking, rock climbing, horseriding, golf, canoeing and even Paragliding can all be found within 20kms of the village.

By Car - Malaucene is situated approximately 25 miles from Avignon, 22 miles from Orange and 5 miles from Vaison la Romaine
By Air - Marseille and Nimes Airports are the nearest - approximately 60 minutes drive away
By Train - The high speed TGV service runs directly from London or Paris to Avignon, approximately 25 miles away

Further details indoors: The open plan living space has a stylish, very modern, decor, providing comfortable accommodation for four people. The light airy feel is perfect during the warm summer days!
The living room is well-equipped, with a comfortable sofa, satellite TV, CD player and dining facilities for the occupants. The kitchen area has everything that you're likely to need, including a fridge and freezer, oven, ceramic hob stove, dishwasher and microwave.
Further details outdoors: The property shares a gated communal pool with the other three properties on the site. At 14m x 7m, it's easily large enough for everybody to take a dip during the summer days!
Alternatively, you can just relax on the private terrace, maybe while enjoying the supplied BBQ! If you're feeling a little bit more active, it's possible to find facilities for boules, ping pong, volleyball, table football, and even a children's slide.
Further details
The owner arranges end-of-stay cleaning for a fee of 45 Euros, payable locally.
The owner requests a damage deposit of 300 Euros on arrival and this will be refunded to you at the end of your stay, less the replacement cost of any breakages.
