Further details outdoors:
If you are travelling by car, no worries about parking in city centre, we got agreements with close car parks. Also you can choose to park your car in any street around apartment as Malaga City Centre doesn't have big inconveniences as other big cities does, so usually you can find a car park giving some rounds (depends of the time).
- Alvarez Apartment car park facilities (both apartments are 100 metres away each other): Las Delicias Parking is located in Don Rodrigo Street (just behind Alvarez Apartment), 24 hours open and keep watched by a guard. Agreement for 10€ per day.
- Alamos I & II Apartments car park facilities: Be aware most of streets around are for residents so you are not allow to park (it is needed an specific authorization for you ( plate number and car style), so we cannot help on it. If your stay is going to be more than 1 hour, we don’t recommend using these resident areas.
We suggest to park by JINETES St. It is a “temporal” car park where is planned to build some houses but at the moment it being used by residents. 2 minutes from apartment on foot, it is quite convenient as you pay about 1€ and no limited stay time. It can seem unsafe but it is quite safe as there is a person who looks after cars all day long (you pay a tip, 1€), entrance by Refino Street

Malaga is a nice city with a better weather, always full of life. You can find the real Spain, having “tapas” and typical wine in one of many restaurants. You can visit two castles (Alcazaba and Gibralfaro), the big Cathedral, Larios Street or Constitución Square. But also you can discover its beaches (1.5 km from the apartment), other famous areas as Torremolinos, Benalmadena, Marbella and Ronda (everything closer than 45 minutes by car), and montain. We recommend you to save one day visit for Granada (1 hour driving).
The Malaga area
Monuments and main places (street, squares, etc...) are just down the apartment. The Cathedral, Picasso Museum, La Alcazaba, Plaza Constitucion, Marques de Larios Street, Wine Museum are places you cannot miss in your visit

The best thing was the location, you are completly in the center of the city, and the good thing is that cause it is in the backyard, it not noisy at all....The apartment it was clean, cool and cosy and it had everything we needed for making our stay very nice!! We´ll come back!! Response: Thanks Liz, you are more than welcome to come over again, we will try to give you same or better service in order you feel Malaga as your second home. Samuel |

"We spent some great days in this sunny apartment. Very central location, all the touristic places within a very short walk, walking distance to the beach, bus/train station, shops/supermarket. Apartment is very sunny, has all the details one needs to be comfortable and enjoy the time: even the umbrella for the beach (though we missed the bottle opener, think of it if you will be tasting great spanish wine at home:)
In total we stayed 10 days in Spain and Malaga was great starting place. If you have some time I can only suggest the day trip to Cordoba (1h by train), and don’t forget that Granada is just 1,5h drive!

"We enjoyed a lot in Malaga (beaches areas, old city, other towns, etc...). Apartment was not the most important for us but this one had everything we needed for making our stay very nice and convenient. Wi fi internet access, very central location and modern decorated are things to be said here. Id recommend this apartment for couples in a romantic trip and also small groups (no more than 3, maybe 4).
Quiet area as apartment is just a few metres from main atractions but located in a residential area so no noisy.
Very convenient apartment as we felt at home"

"Tidy compact apartment that was fine for the two of us. The owner was very helpful, and the situation was perfect for the old city, close to an excellent restaurante (Vino Mio) and not too far to walk to the beach or the bus station. The cleaning left a little to be desired upon our arrival, but to be fair, the previous occupants were late leaving. Our only quibbles were that there was no view at all, and although it was a self-catering apartment, there were few kitchen utensils - we had been hoping to make the most of the suberb fresh food available in the market, but struggled a bit because of that,- and the corkscrew was terrible! However, we had a great time; we love Malaga and this was our fourth visit, although our first self catering"

"We stayed here over Christmas and really enjoyed our stay! The apartment is small but contains everything needed. It is bright and airy and very modern. It is central and just 5 minutes away from a main shopping street. The location is quiet as it is away from a main road. We walked everywhere but a taxi to anywhere in the city is unlikely to set you back more than 5 euros.
Samuel was great and very friendly. There were maps and lots of leaflets in the apartment so you can plan what you want to visit in the city and beyond. The train and bus stations are next to each other, about 20 mins walk away from the apartment, and from there you can travel to just about anywhere in the region. I recommend Las Cuevas de Nerja, you can get a bus directly there and they are stunning! Make sure you get a ticket for the caves and not just Nerja though :) or you will have to get off a fair way from the caves. We travelled to Seville too, via train, but unfortunately the weather was not on our side :( and as it was Sunday, a lot of attractions were closed.
Malaga is a lovely city and a great base for travelling around the local region, and this apartment is a good value place to stay."

Malaga is a very accessible city - most places are in walking distance and this flat is ideally suited to enjoy all that it has to offer: the museums and other monuments, great restaurants, tapas bars and chiringuitos. And now for bird watchers the mouth of the Guadalhorce provides an ideal area to observe local varieties and from recently erected bird-hides. All this is at just 20-25 min bus ride from the centre but do take a scope.
