Home description

Set in 180 acres of Olive and Almond trees, Padre Aviles is a traditionally restored convent steeped in history which sits nestled in the mountains with amazing panoramic views over the Mediterranean. In one wing of this ancient Lagarand lie 2 enormous self catering apartments sleeping 10 which can be rented as one (sleeps 10) or individually (sleeps 5 )

The 22 meter pool boasts a large shallow end ideal for children or the not so confident swimmer, 2 tennis courts and large terraces with hammocks to laze around in.
Ideal for all especially families because of it's safe environment. Real cots and high chairs are on available should you need them.
It's great location offers a variety of choices. 30 mins from Malaga airport, 10 mins from the beach and beach front restaurants and 20 mins from the lovely city of Malaga with all its history, wonderful cafés, tapas bars and great shopping.
All major towns such as Granada, Ronda, Seville and Tarifa are all within easy access.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

Padre Aviles is 12km East of Malaga and away from the crowds, yet within easy reach of Malaga city centre There are many places to visit such as Frigiliana, Neja, Antequera, Ronda, Seville, Granada. Andalucia is full of histoy.


Malaga area

Malaga city centre is an attractive city full of history. The cathedral, castle and Picasso Museum are well worth a
visit. There are many festival during the year, the main one being Semana Santa (Holy week) which takes place at Easter time. They have numerous proccesions that go on late into the night and the atmosphere is wonderful. There are lots of villages dotted around which are worth a visit. The spacious accommodations provides 4 large bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. They are tastefully decorated in neutral tones to give a maximum sense of peace and tranquility. Crips white bed linen, orthopeadic matresses, ceiling fans, heaters, woodburning stove , everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Both aptarments lead onto their own private terrace over looking the pool and the sea.

Both apartments have their own private terrace with teak furniture and a BBQ. There are 2 tennis courts, and large 22 metre pool with a huge shallow end ideal for young swimmers. There are 2 large terraces, hammocks, a large wooden climbing frame, little trikes and plently of room for children to run about. Ideal for families because of its safe environment.


Further details

There is a welcome pack and the owner is happy do your first supermarket shop for a small fee. It will all be put away for your arrival, so that you can get straight into your holiday without worrying about dashing out to the shops.
The swimming pool is open all year but is not heated during the winter
The tennis courts, swimming pool and gardens are shared with the owners.
The owners Claire and David speak fluent french, english and spanish.


Conditions

A deposit is required to secure the booking with the balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival.
