If you are a couple of families, a group of friends or Hen party and looking for a unique glamping experience in Spain then Glamping Spain is luxury camping in Andalucia at it's best. Only 30 minutes drive from Malaga Airport but in one of the few remaining unspoilt parts of the Costa Del Sol. Set in a part of Spain that is truly traditional, this is a unique location beneath one of the few remaining famous Spanish bulls in the region of Andalucia and within easy walking distance between Almayate, Malaga, a small farming community with excellent tapas bars and it’s own ancient traditions, and in the other direction, Torre Del Mar, Malaga which is a very Spanish holiday resort with shops, restaurants, bars, clubs and supermarkets. It also has a market day every Thursday.
A little oasis of around 2,200sq.m with a Mongolian yurt and a Latvian wooden chalet. Loads of outside areas that include a double bed chill out area on the porch of the chalet, private carp pond (sorry no fishing) with plenty of fish, beautiful gardens, a pool and a separate plunge pool, outside barbecue areas, own private covered parking for two cars, well equipped kitchen and shared bathroom facilities.
Glamping, Spain is also close to public transport so car not necessary. Lots of beach chiringuitos (small beach bars) and restaurants in a very Spanish and unspoilt area of Andalucia on the Costa Del Sol.

If you’ve had enough of the beach for the day then there is a good size, above ground swimming pool to cool off in, plenty of outside areas for barbecuing. The kitchen and bathroom facilities have just been newly refurbished to a high standard, and there's plenty of space for lounging around in the sun including a double sized outside bed for chilling out on the chalet porch. Walk around the pond and in to the jungle area where you can sit overlooking the carp pond sipping sangria in the late evening when you are sure to hear the bells of the goats being herded down the old railway line. And in the morning you’ll probably hear them coming over the top of the mountain. Look out for the Andalucian bulls pulling the cart along the track just outside the gate.
Within the local area are there are many activities and below are just a few
Go-Karting Costa Del Sol (within 1km)
Andalucian Horse riding along the Costa Del Sol beaches (within 1km)
Fishing (within 1km)
Motorcycle hire (within 2km)
Malaga football ground (within 35km)
Mediterranean Boat trips, including dolphin spotting (within 4km)
In addition there is also the Sierra Nevada ski resort. You can quite literally ski in the morning and be on the beach in the afternoon. Just one and a half hours drive it is the highest ski resort in Europe and suitable for all standards.
So if you haven’t yet tried Glamping in Spain, then you should and this is probably the most idyllic and yet easily accessible location available.
Hand towels, bed linen and quilts are all included. You just need to bring beach towels.
Welcome pack provided on arrival.
Spanish-speaking representative (owner) on hand to answer any questions.
The Costa del Sol region
The extensive beaches on the Costa del Sol, along with the quiet, hidden coves and trendy stretches of sand have transformed the region into one of the best holiday destinations in Europe. And the province of Málaga and the Costa del Sol in particular offers a wealth of activities such as hiking, caving, wild swimming, four-wheel-driving, horse-riding and countless other adventurous activities but as well as the beaches, less well-known, but definitely worth a visit, are the many stunning national parks around Malaga province, often located just a short, easy drive inland. Or for a less strenuous day out, the villages of the Axarquia region are some of the most picturesque in all of Spain.
Almayate Glamping, Spain is located in one of the few remaining unspoilt parts of the Costa Del Sol. The immediate surrounding area is predominantly a farming region and very beautiful and still as Spanish as it gets. Traditionally sugar cane was the main cultivation but more and more farmers are converting to avocados, kiwis, mangoes and salad crops. Beaches are unspoilt and within just a few minutes easy walk. The village itself has some of the best traditional tapas bars in Andalucia. The nearest larger town is Torre Del Mar which is about 15 minutes easy walk and is a very lively but totally Spanish holiday resort in the summer with plenty of entertainment morning noon and night and the seafront has a summer night market open until 3.00h every morning in July and August. Two kilometres to the east there is a fishing port and marina at La Caleta de Velez. This area has not yet been developed as a tourist attraction but remains very much a working port.
