If you are a family or a couple of families or just a group of friends and looking for a unique glamping experience in Spain then Glamping Spain is luxury camping in Andalucia at it's best. Only 10 minutes walk from the beach and 30 minutes drive from Malaga Airport but in one of the few remaining unspoilt parts of the Costa Del Sol. Set in a part of Spain that is truly traditional, this is a unique location beneath one of the few remaining famous Spanish bulls in the region of Andalucia and within easy walking distance between Almayate, Malaga, a small farming community with excellent tapas bars and it's own ancient traditions, and in the other direction, Torre Del Mar, Malaga which is a very Spanish holiday resort with shops, restaurants, bars, clubs and supermarkets. It also has a market day every Thursday.

A little oasis of around 2,000 sq.m with a Mongolian yurt and a Latvian wooden chalet. Loads of outside areas that include a double bed chill out area on the porch of the chalet, private carp pond (sorry no fishing) with plenty of fish, beautiful gardens, a pool and a separate plunge pool, outside barbecue areas, own private covered parking for two cars, well equipped kitchen and shared bathroom facilities.

Glamping, Spain is also close to public transport so car not necessary. Lots of beach chiringuitos (small beach bars) and restaurants in a very Spanish and unspoilt area of Andalucia on the Costa Del Sol.

A very secluded naturist beach is also within close proximity.

Further details indoors

Our sumptuous traditional hand made Mongolian yurt comprises of natural wooden flooring, double bed, two single futon beds and a small double futon sofa bed, own outside seating area, Sky satellite TV (if required), heating and FREE WiFi facility.

The wooden chalet has a good sized double bedroom with loads of wardrobe and hanging space, a sitting room which has 2 single, fully sprung fold out sofa beds, a large desk area, satellite TV and hifi system, heating and dimmer lighting.

Glamping is about mucking in so futons can be moved around as required and a travel cot is available on request at no extra charge.

There is an excellent local hire company for all your nursery needs and details available on request.

The glamping kitchen is fully equipped for large groups with everything you need including good size range style cooker including spit roaster, comprehensive coffee machine, griddle for outdoor use, microwave, pots and pans and enough glasses and cutlery for all.

The bathroom is newly refitted and has everything you would expect with luxury camping. There is also an outdoor shower available.

Further details outdoors

If you’ve had enough of the beach for the day then there is a good size, above ground swimming pool to cool off in, plenty of outside areas for barbecuing. The kitchen and bathroom facilities have just been newly refurbished to a high standard, and there's plenty of space for lounging around in the sun including a double sized outside bed for chilling out on the chalet porch. Walk around the pond and in to the jungle area where you can sit overlooking the carp pond sipping sangria in the late evening when you are sure to hear the bells of the goats being herded down the old railway line. And in the morning you’ll probably hear them coming over the top of the mountain. Look out for the Andalucian bulls pulling the cart along the track just outside the gate.

Within the local area are there are many activities and below are just a few

Go-Karting Costa Del Sol (within 1km)

Cycling (doorstep)

Andalucian Horse riding along the Costa Del Sol beaches (within 1km)

Fishing (within 1km)

Walking (doorstep)

Motorcycle hire (within 2km)

Malaga football ground (within 35km)

Mediterranean Boat trips, including dolphin spotting (within 4km)

In addition there is also the Sierra Nevada ski resort. You can quite literally ski in the morning and be on the beach in the afternoon. Just one and a half hours drive it is the highest ski resort in Europe and suitable for all standards.

So if you haven’t yet tried Glamping in Spain, then you should and this is probably the most idyllic and yet easily accessible location available.

Further details

Hand towels, bed linen and quilts are all included. You just need to bring beach towels.

Welcome pack provided on arrival.

Spanish-speaking representative (owner) on hand to answer any questions.

The Andalucia region

The extensive beaches on the Costa del Sol, along with the quiet, hidden coves and trendy stretches of sand have transformed the region into one of the best holiday destinations in Europe. And the province of Málaga and the Costa del Sol in particular offers a wealth of activities such as hiking, caving, wild swimming, four-wheel-driving, horse-riding and countless other adventurous activities but as well as the beaches, less well-known, but definitely worth a visit, are the many stunning national parks around Malaga province, often located just a short, easy drive inland. Or for a less strenuous day out, the villages of the Axarquia region are some of the most picturesque in all of Spain.

Malaga

Almayate Glamping, Spain is located in one of the few remaining unspoilt parts of the Costa Del Sol. The immediate surrounding area is predominantly a farming region and very beautiful and still as Spanish as it gets. Traditionally sugar cane was the main cultivation but more and more farmers are converting to avocados, kiwis, mangoes and salad crops. Beaches are unspoilt and within just a few minutes easy walk. The village itself has some of the best traditional tapas bars in Andalucia. The nearest larger town is Torre Del Mar which is about 15 minutes easy walk and is a very lively but totally Spanish holiday resort in the summer with plenty of entertainment morning noon and night and the seafront has a summer night market open until 3.00h every morning in July and August. Two kilometres to the east there is a fishing port and marina at La Caleta de Velez. This area has not yet been developed as a tourist attraction but remains very much a working port.

Hope you are all well Carol
