About the home

The new apartment is located at 2 min. walking from the train and bus stations, two shopping malls, cinemas, restaurants, major retailers and fresh food market. At 10 min. from the historical centre with the Larios street, the Alcazaba, the Roman Theatre, Picasso, Thyssen and Modern Art museums, and all bus stops in the Alameda street. At 15 min. from the beach and the Malaga port.

The apartment is located in the commercial centre, between the train and bus station and the historical centre. It has the advantages of being near the historical centre, but not the disadvantages of the historical centre night life.

It is a quiet apartment with sights to a Zen style garden with a terrace where you can enjoy a dinner. With its design, you can feel comfortable while being very functional, you can't feel it in the photos, you have to be there.

The apartment has central Air Conditioning so you can have a great climate while listening only the air flow. Taking the lift you can go directly also to the car park, with a lot of space.

If you get to Málaga from the Airport, you can take the train just there every 20 min., stopping at Maria Zambrano malaga train station, where you only have to walk 2 minutes. It is just as easy if you get to Malaga by train or bus.

The Costa del Sol region

Soft climate all year round, 19º average, 12º daily mean on January and 25º on August. 300 days of sun per year. On January the clouds block the sun only 28% more than on July in which there are almost no clouds. The mountains at the north and west protect from cold winds while leaving some space for the summer breeze to pass direct from the sea.

If a word could describe the climate of the centre of Málaga (different from surrounding areas) it would be stability, all year round, even with clouds or rain. The soft climate is great even for the most delicate people who may be unable to notice where the day starts and ends as it is smoothly changing all the time as can be seen in the weather reports graphs.

There are a lot of things to do on Malaga province, there are mountains and beaches from East to West. At the east, there are great small beaches like Maro, that start from Nerja, where there are also the famous Nerja caves.

At the North just close to the city there are the Mountains of Málaga, and upper there are monumental cities like Antequera. As an interesting note, Granada with its famous Alhambra is at 1 hour.

At the west there are a continuous succession of great beaches of all types, starting from the open Guadalmar, following Torremolinos, Benalmádena, Fuengirola, Mijas, Marbella, ... At the mountains level, there are also some interesting cities like the monumental Ronda.

The Malaga area

Picasso and Thyssen museums are a must. The historical centre with the Alcazaba and Roman Theatre is great at day and night. Gibralfaro sight of Malaga gives you greater perspective of Málaga.

You can visit other museums like Picasso Foundation Birthplace Museum, Malaga Museum, Museo del Patrimonio Municipal, Modern Art Museum (CAC), Museo Casa de Muñecas, Museo del Vino, Automobile Museum Malaga, Interactive Music Museum, Cathedral museum, Museum of Glass and Cristal. All of them are at 5 - 15 min. walking.

Even in winter you can try beaches like The Malagueta or Misericordia surrounding the port, which is the only coast line where there is not sand.

In the historical centre there are many restaurants to take Tapas or take some tea or coffee. You can go shopping as well in a historic environment.

There are too much things in the city, as well as people, to discover for yourself.

From Malaga Airport you can take a train every 20 minutes, in 10 min. take the María Zambrano stop (train station), and then 2 min. walking to get to the apartment.

“Good centrally situated apartment very close to bus and rail stations.” The apartment is well situated for bus and rail stations and a short walk from central Malaga, which is a good base for exploring places like Cordoba, Granada and Sevilla - all possible by public transport. The apartment itself is in a modern block and is attractive and well furnished and fitted out. For a couple exploring Andalucia, it is an ideal base.

“Even better than shown on the photos!” A very clean and well appointed apartment centrally located in a quality building, close to train and bus stations, fresh produce market and shopping. We appreciated the free WI-FI access, the completely outfitted kitchen, the quality of linen and towels provided and the balcony! We were met on arrival by the owner who was happy to provide useful local information. A quiet and safe environment, a short walk to the historic Malaga and the waterfront. We will definitely return and refer our friends to this apartment.
