"the perfect place for a family vacation"
We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Padre Aviles. Claire and her family were fabulous hosts that made us feel so welcome from the first minute we arrived. We stayed at the appartments "The Figg" and "Jasmine". We liked both. They are both spatious and well equiped. The view from the balcony of Jasmine is breathtaking.
If you like beautiful surrondings, swimming, playing tennis and friendly company, its the perfect place for a family vacation.

"Tranquility with a view"
We discovered this place on baby-friendly bolt-holes and thought it would be ideal for a short-haul getaway with our 8 month old baby. We were not disappointed in any way. You can pack (relatively!) l… More

"Beautiful hilltop location with great views and big pool."
The villa was great, spacious and comfortable with a great balcony and view. It was the perfect spot for a BBQ and dinner.
The pool and tennis courts are great and it is a really safe place for kids to run around.
Claire and David couldn't have been more welcoming.
The beach is 15 minutes drive and the market in town has great fresh veg and seafood.
We were very happy with our choice.

"Brilliant place, Jasmine is like a second home for us"
We've stayed in Jasmine four times now and every time we've had a fabulous time. The apartment is clean, fresh and comfortable and the family make us so welcome. There is always a bottle of wine and freshly baked cake awaiting our arrival! The facilities are perfect for a family holiday. Lovely pool, two great tennis courts, and a courtyard where the kids can play safely, ride bikes, roller blade, etc. The surrounding area is well worth exploring too. Fresh water lakes, beaches close by, and the caves at Nerja. Highly recommend it to any active family.

"Great location, accommodation and facilities."
Following an earlier stay at Padre Aviles, we returned in 2012 with eight families (children aged 0 - 6) in tow for a week on the occasion of a celebratory event.
With minimal guidance from our side, Claire and David put together an evening with great food and entertainment in a stunning yet relaxed setting. For the remainder of the week, they were there when needed with expert local advice, a helping hand and general thinking along that made the stay for us and our guests positively memorable.
Aside from the celebration and advice, the accommodations are spacious, clean and well equipped for families with young children. Plenty of outdoor play equipment and for our children the visits to the chicken pen were always a highlight.
The big difference Padre Aviles made to us as a family with young children is that the pool and play spaces are literally on your doorstep -behind safety gates-, making it easy to keep an eye on the kids, and they can start playing from the moment they wake up.
For those interested in walking, there are a number of nice walking routes (not marked, but easy to find) accessible from the property. In summer, early morning is a great time to enjoy these. Moderately strenuous due to rising and falling terrain.

"A perfect, relaxing holiday even with 2 young children!"
We absolutely love this spot and this was our second visit. The views are tremendous, the pool is perfect for children and adults alike, the apartments are clean and modern. We hardly left the apartment to be honest, there seemed no need. The children ran from pool to terrace. My kids are 3 and 6 and both found plenty to play with on the terrace when they werent in the pool. We walked from pool to terrace and not much further!....Evening drinks on the terrace overlooking the olive trees with the sea in the distance is very special, or to hide on the hammock and read our books overlooking the olive trees with the slight breeze rocking the hammock. We ran, we swam, we ate, we drank we left the Villa for supplies! You really can relax here if that is what you need, we even had massages! We managed a couple of day trips to the beach and the lakes which are fantastic, Malaga is close by and great for shopping or dinner. Claire and David the owners are great, very helpful and their teenage girls were wonderful with our children.
Highly recommend, we will definately be back.
