About the home

A stylish open plan garden apartment on the new BayView development. This spacious air conditioned apartment is able to sleep 6, with a double bedroom, a single bedroom with bunk beds and a double sofa bed, bed linen and towels provided. There is a fully fitted kitchen including electric cooker and hob, microwave and fridge/freezer and breakfast bar or dine al fresco on the terrace. It makes an ideal base for any type of holiday and is suitable for all ages.

Just 300metres from the unspoilt Lagada Beach and a short distance from the village of Makrigialos with numerous small tavernas and a blue flag beach offering a wide range of water-sports.

Also there is plenty of storage space and a parking space.

The Crete region

The Makrigialos area

Located on the quiet south east cost is the quaint seaside village of Makrigialos meaning "long beach". The beach offers wonderful swimming, snorkeling and sun beds with parasols all year round. The harbour has several small attractive tavernas to choose from.

BayView is a modern beautiful resort designed of bungalows and apartments at the foot of the mountains. The local BayView beach boasts crystal clear turquoise waters.

Visit the mountain village of Pefki or go to one of the local morning markets available in Makrigialos (Fridays) and Sitia (Tuesdays) and Lerapetra (Saturdays). Archaeological sites, caves, beaches, coves, monasteries and other amazing places are situated within a short drive of BayView.

“Surprisingly nice and quiet atmosphere.” We were pleased with the service we were offered. The apartment were in all ordinary, but the kitchen was very nice, although it could have more equipment(utensils). Small, but nice bathroom. We didn't like the bedroom because it didn't have aircondition, so we slept in the living room - OK though, we were a familiy of 4, one 8 year old and one teenager. The surrounding was calm and quiet and the best things were the swimming pools, lovely! Remember, if you plan to stay at Lagada, you need a car. We liked it very much and look forward to come back another time. Good value for price paid - absolutely!
